With a strong focus on practical training, the Automotive Engineering Technology program at Dai Nam University is designed to stay up to date with modern technological trends such as smart vehicles, electric cars, and Industry 4.0. Students have the opportunity to study and practice in a state-of-the-art automotive workshop that meets industry standards. They also participate in internships and real-world experiences at major car manufacturers, garages, and service centers. In addition to gaining solid professional knowledge and well-rounded technical skills, the Faculty is committed to supporting students with job placement opportunities immediately after graduation.

That’s why our students don’t just sit in classrooms or labs — they get out there and work directly with companies, getting their hands dirty, solving problems, and seeing how things actually work in the field. From day one, they build a strong foundation, and as they progress, they explore cutting-edge technologies in smart vehicles, electric cars, and the latest innovations in automotive engineering. The industry is changing fast — and we want our students to not just keep up, but lead the way. Our goal is to support them every step of the journey — helping them become confident, capable engineers who think creatively, adapt quickly, and aren’t afraid to push boundaries.
The training program focuses on teaching and learning the core subjects of the field and specialization, closely aligned with real-world practice.
The entire curriculum consists of 57 courses with 151 credits, including 29 credits for core courses and 56 credits for specialized courses. In addition to practical training in the workshop, students also complete 2 internship semesters at enterprises and 1 semester for their graduation project.

The Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology brings together a team of highly skilled instructors with extensive practical experience, dedicated to student success. With the motto "learning by doing," our faculty members not only impart knowledge but also inspire passion, guiding students to master technology and confidently enter the modern automotive industry.
In addition to the university's modern facilities, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology is equipped with its own dedicated workshop, featuring advanced machinery and equipment that effectively meet the practical learning needs of students. The faculty continues to invest in upgrading these resources, enabling both instructors and students to gradually embrace the latest automotive technologies.
The Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology has signed training cooperation agreements with companies in the automotive engineering field, including IDMC – Toyota My Dinh, Honda An Khanh, Mitsubishi, major Toyota dealerships in Northern provinces such as Toyota Phap Van, Toyota Long Bien, Toyota Hung Yen, Toyota Nankai Hai Phong, Thinh Phat Technology and Equipment Joint Stock Company, Hai Duong Ford, Delta International Joint Stock Company (Bac Ninh branch), Long Bien Vehicle Inspection Joint Stock Company - 2916D, and companies offering job opportunities and internships in Japan (Sunrise JSC, VIJALink).
The 2+2 study abroad program allows students to study for 2 years at the university and 2 years in Taiwan, with a 100% tuition scholarship worth 100,000 TWD/year and a living allowance of 10,000 TWD/month. After graduation, students have the opportunity to work at leading technology companies in Taiwan with a starting salary of 1,000 USD/month. The program also opens up opportunities to study at prestigious universities in the United States, such as the University of Minnesota Duluth and the University of Kentucky.
