Accounting Challenge 2023 Final: A playground to understand and love the "difficult profession" more

On the morning of April 20, the final round of the "Accounting Challenge 2023" competition took place in an extremely tense and fierce manner; once again affirming that the spirit of accounting is not just dry numbers, but that those who study and work in accounting are very dynamic, creative, confident and enthusiastic people.

“Accounting Challenge” is an annual competition organized by the Accounting Department of Dai Nam University. The competition not only provides economic students with professional knowledge but also helps them connect and practice professional skills. From there, they will understand and love the Accounting profession more – the profession that “holds the lifeblood” of a business.

Accounting Challenge attracts a large number of economic students.

After going through rigorous preliminary rounds with nearly 300 students registering to compete, the 10 best teams (20 people/team) were officially revealed and entered the final race.

In the final round, the teams took turns participating in 4 competitions: “Who are we?”, “Golden Bell”, “Accounting Black Box” and “Shining Talent”… The content of the competitions focused mainly on basic knowledge of accounting law, business law, principles of economic statistics, accounting principles, soft skills…

The "Golden Bell" contest brought an exciting and exciting atmosphere.

The quickness, talent, good professional knowledge, teamwork skills, quick thinking and reasoning ability of the competing teams brought about a breathless "chase"; clearly demonstrating the qualities of good economists and accountants with good moral qualities in the future.

In the end, the first prize was awarded to the Balance team from the Accounting - Auditing Club. The second prize went to the Accounting Gods team (class KT 14.03 + 16.03) and the Vengeful Team (class KT 15.01 + 15.03). The third prize was awarded to the Accounting Panthers team (class KT 14.02 + 15.02), the Accounting Warriors team (class KT 14.01 + 16.02) and the Currency Sister Group team (class KT 14.01 + 16.03).

Sharing after the program, Trinh Thi Nhu Mai - class KT 14.02, representative of the Champion team said: "The whole team came to the competition with a high determination, bringing home the prize for the Accounting - Auditing Club. This award is an affirmation of the efforts and dedication of the whole team, affirming the intelligence, talent and courage of future accountants".

Mr. Le The Anh - Head of Accounting Department and Mr. Nguyen Huu Nhan - Head of Student Affairs Department awarded the First Prize to Balance team.

Nguyen Thi An Ninh – class KT 14.01 shared: “The competition helped me step out of my comfort zone to be ready to compete and express myself. I hope that the Faculty and the School will have more academic competitions for students to practice their profession and skills…”

Dr. Le The Anh - Head of the Accounting Department emphasized: "The competition is a meaningful start, giving students an overview of the profession, knowledge and skills they need to cultivate. This is an opportunity for them to foster their love for the profession, challenge their own abilities; draw out their strengths and weaknesses to consciously cultivate and practice; expand their career opportunities after leaving school".
