During his 15-year journey in education, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Dai Nam University has inspired and accompanied many generations of students. For him, teaching is not only about imparting knowledge but also about sharing, encouraging and guiding students on the path of personal and career development.

Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao has a solid academic background, graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the National Economics University in 2010, completing a Master's degree in Business Administration from Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2013; receiving a PhD from the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2018. In 2022, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor of Economics by the State Council of Professors.

In addition, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao has a lot of practical experience in fields such as aviation, tourism, trade - import - export and management consulting. He is currently a professional advisor to many businesses. He also actively cooperates with the VECOM E-commerce Association and many businesses operating on digital platforms.

However, what students appreciate about the teacher is not only his extensive knowledge, but also his care and dedication in teaching and guiding. In each lecture, the teacher always tries to connect theory with practice. Thanks to that, students not only understand the lesson but also know how to apply it while still in school.

Not only teaching, Associate Professor, Dr. Truong Duc Thao also actively participates in independent research groups to support businesses. With quantitative methods and software such as SPSS, AMOS, STATA, he provides in-depth analysis to help businesses improve business strategies and enhance service quality.

Up to now, he has conducted more than 100 research projects, with more than 80 domestic articles and more than 20 outstanding international articles in prestigious journals such as: Finance Research Letters (ISI, Scopus Q1), Forum Scientiae Oeconomia (Scopus Q3), Russian Management Journal (ESCI), Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Research, Journal of Commercial Science...

In addition, he also participates in guiding and evaluating doctoral and master's training programs at major universities such as: University of Economics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Foreign Trade University; Hanoi University of Science and Technology... He is also a key research member of the Ministry-level project on digital transformation for small and medium enterprises, contributing to the process of digital transformation of enterprises, development of digital economy, and digital society today.
