Merit Scholarship worth 100%, 50% tuition fee for semester I, first year

The Talent Encouragement Scholarship was approved by Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University since 2017. After 6 years of implementation, Dai Nam University has awarded scholarships worth more than 30 billion VND to students with high entrance scores.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will award 50 billion VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to new students of K17.

Specifically:

1. Granting a Talent Encouragement Scholarship worth 100% of the first semester tuition fee of the first year to new students admitted by all admission methods on the admission software of the Ministry of Education and Training, completing enrollment when having a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the school's admission combination (excluding regional and subject priority points):

- Medicine, Chinese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture scored from 28 points.

- Pharmacy major achieved from 27 points.

- Multimedia communication, Public relations scored from 26 points.

- Other training majors score from 24 points.

2. Granting a Talent Encouragement Scholarship worth 50% of the first semester tuition fee of the first year to new students admitted by all admission methods on the software of the Ministry of Education and Training, completing enrollment when having a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the school's admission combination (excluding regional and subject priority points).

- The majors of Medicine, Korean Language and Culture, and Chinese Language and Culture scored 27 points.

- Pharmacy scored 26 points.

- Multimedia Communication, Public Relations 25 points.

- Other training majors achieved 23 points.

Annual Academic Incentive Scholarship

In addition to the Talent Encouragement Scholarship, full-time university students with excellent, good, or fair academic and training results will be awarded a study encouragement scholarship.

Every year, Dai Nam University spends nearly 3 billion on scholarships to encourage learning for students of all courses.

Corporate scholarship worth 15 million VND for new students of K17 majoring in Medicine

Successfully enrolled, each K17 student of Dai Nam University's Medical Faculty will receive a scholarship of 15 million VND and job referrals after graduation.

With the aim of selecting excellent students; providing financial support for students to study and train with peace of mind; ensuring the best conditions for practice, internship and job referrals for students after graduation, the Vietnam Private Hospital Association - a strategic partner of Dai Nam University, awarded entrance scholarships to new students of K17 in the Faculty of Medicine. Accordingly, each successfully enrolled student will receive a scholarship worth 15 million VND.

Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Private Hospital Association, opening up many internship and job opportunities for students in the Health sector.

In addition, the Vietnam Private Hospital Association will continue to organize programs to accompany and support Dai Nam Medical students throughout their studies at the school. Specifically:

• Support for practical training, internships and participation in professional activities in the Association's hospital chain.
• Introduce jobs for students to work at medical facilities and hospitals of the Association nationwide.

DNU Medical students are trained by excellent lecturers from top medical and pharmaceutical schools in the country.

Huge corporate scholarships for students majoring in Japanese Language, Oriental Studies – Japanese Studies major

Over the years, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture has established many rich, diverse and attractive scholarship mechanisms for students who have, are and will study at the Faculty such as: Scholarships for encouraging learning (disadvantaged students with good academic achievements), Japanese language proficiency scholarships, FJLC scholarships, scholarships for experiences in Japan, etc.

Accordingly, students with the highest academic achievements in the Faculty have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to experience practical work in Japan for 7-10 days. Students with excellent academic achievements receive scholarships worth from 6-10 million VND.

Every year, students can apply for scholarships from the following programs: 1-year exchange scholarships for international students at universities in Japan, short-term exchange scholarships for international students, Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT), full scholarships from JASSO, scholarships from businesses for students of Japanese Language and Culture, etc.

Students of the Department of Japanese Language and Culture, DNU, received a "huge" scholarship from the Corporate Scholarship Fund for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Japanese Language and Culture Faculty's Corporate Scholarship Fund is sponsored by the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN, GAG Japanese Language Academy and Japanese Enterprises with a total value of more than 2 billion VND. Language students do internships and receive salaries from 7-12 million VND/month at LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong.

E-commerce and Information Technology students are paid interns and are "closed on" by the company right after the end of the internship; they are sponsored with scholarships to support their studies.

4 methods of admission to Dai Nam University in 2023

In 2023, Dai Nam University will enroll 4,720 full-time university students in 24 training majors in 4 groups: Health, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences.

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 3 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

Admission major: Medicine (50 quotas).

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent as above, candidates applying for admission must meet the mandatory condition of graduating from high school abroad or in Vietnam.
