Career Orientation - Solid preparation for new students of K18 majoring in Finance - Banking

In order to help new students understand the training program, core subjects and essential skills in the university environment, the Faculty of Finance and Banking (TCNH) of Dai Nam University organized the "Career Orientation" event for K18 "new recruits". This is an opportunity for new students to shape their learning journey and explore career opportunities in the potential field of Finance and Banking.
The program was attended by: representatives of the Board of Directors, leaders, staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance - Banking. In particular, the program had the participation of representatives of banks, securities companies...
Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University, on behalf of the Board of Directors, attended the career orientation session for new students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking.
Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nam - Head of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting shared about the core training program of the major.
At the program, Mr. Le Quang Trung, Director of ACB Van Phu Bank and also a former student of the first course of the faculty, shared about his career development journey, from the early days to his current position. His sharing not only brought inspiration but also helped new students visualize more clearly about their career path in the banking industry.
Mr. Bui Manh Hung - VPBank Securities Joint Stock Company shared about the stock market and potential income in this field, attracting the attention of new students.
In addition, Ms. Bui Thi Ngan - Head of Talent Attraction Team of Viettinbank Insurance - analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of young people of Gen Z generation, a topic that received much attention from students participating in the program.
Nguyen Thi Thao - student of TCNH class 18-01 shared: "This program is really necessary, because as new students, we are still confused and do not have a deep understanding of the Finance - Banking industry as well as the practical requirements from businesses. The useful sharing from teachers and business representatives helps us have a clearer view of the career path ahead".
Also at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of IELTS Mentor English Area, awarded 10 English scholarships to 10 students of the Faculty of Finance and Banking. This English scholarship will contribute to creating a solid foundation, helping students confidently enter the harsh labor market right after graduation.
The event “Career Orientation for New Students of Finance – Banking Course 18” was a great success, providing a lot of useful information and motivation for new students. Hopefully, with the knowledge and skills equipped, students will be confident and steady on their future career path.
