Celebrating the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day: Dai Nam University affirms its will and aspiration to train high-quality human resources for the healthcare sector

On February 26, Dai Nam University solemnly held the 69th Anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024). The ceremony is a tribute to and honor of the great contributions of the Vietnamese medical team; at the same time, it is an opportunity for the School's leaders, staff, lecturers, and students of Dai Nam University's Health Sector (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing) to share their will, determination, and aspirations for the career of training high-quality human resources for the health sector.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Board of Directors; Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh - Head of the Faculty of Medicine; Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Hue - Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Mr. Tran Quang Huy - Head of the Faculty of Nursing; along with all staff, lecturers, students, alumni of the Health Department and representatives of parents.

In particular, the program was attended by Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach - Deputy Head of the Department of Health Economics, Institute of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Hanoi Medical University, one of the three youngest professors in Vietnam; and representatives of businesses that are strategic partners of Dai Nam University.

The moment the entire hall was solemn and thoughtful before the advice of President Ho Chi Minh in the letter to medical staff.

Absolutely do not let any Doctor, Pharmacist, or Nursing Bachelor unemployed after graduation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Dac Son congratulated and expressed gratitude to Vietnamese doctors, teachers and students of the Health Department of Dai Nam University. At the same time, he affirmed: Dai Nam University always creates the best conditions for students of the Health Department to study, improve their qualifications and training quality.

Mr. Le Dac Son advised: “First, study foreign languages well to continuously update knowledge in the medical field. Second, master and be proficient in information technology. These are extremely necessary factors for you to pursue and develop your career. As for students majoring in Pharmacy, I hope you always remember the slogan: 'Produce medicine to cure and save people, not to make money'”.

Dai Nam University always creates the best conditions for the development of the Health sector; ensuring that 100% of DNU Doctors, Pharmacists, and Nursing Bachelors have jobs and good income after graduation.

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Dac Son thanked parents for trusting their children to study Health at Dai Nam University. At the same time, he affirmed: Dai Nam University will not let any Doctor, Pharmacist, or Nursing Bachelor become unemployed after graduation.

The school board presented flowers to congratulate and express gratitude to teachers and students of the Health Department.

When recruiting, medical units and businesses will immediately think of Dai Nam Medical, Pharmaceutical and Nursing students.

On behalf of the Health Department, Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh affirmed that together with colleagues and students, we will strive to teach well and study well so that when recruiting, medical units and businesses will immediately think of Medical, Pharmacy and Nursing students of Dai Nam University.

Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Mai - Former Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Department of Health, representing parents of the Health sector, presented flowers of gratitude and expressed their trust in entrusting their children to Dai Nam University.

Mr. Bui Van Thai - Northern Human Resources Director of FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company: Currently, there are more than 300 Pharmacists from Dai Nam University working at FPT Long Chau, 25% of whom are holding important positions.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Quang - a former student of Pharmacy, holding the rank of Major, University Pharmacist, Military Preventive Medicine Institute, Military Medical Department, General Department of Logistics sent his greetings on Vietnamese Doctors' Day to teachers and students of the Health Department of Dai Nam University.

Tran Hai Yen - student of class YK 14.02, representing students of the Health Department, affirmed her will and desire to study and contribute to the Vietnamese Health sector.

In particular, at the ceremony, teachers and students of Dai Nam University had the opportunity to interact with Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach - one of the three youngest medical professors in Vietnam. The close and practical sharing of Professor, Dr. Tran Xuan Bach not only "ignited" love, awareness and responsibility for the medical profession but also motivated young people to actively conduct scientific research.
