Dai Nam Blood Donation, Phase 2, 2023: The school's largest blood donation ever

On September 20, the second Blood Donation Festival of Dai Nam in 2023 was held with the number of students doubled compared to the previous year. This is a traditional program with great humanitarian significance of Dai Nam University that has been held for many years, promoting the spirit and responsibility of living for the community.

“My sister is a DNU student, so I came to our school to donate blood with her. The atmosphere of the blood donation festival today was extremely exciting, everyone looked happy to participate in a meaningful activity,” Nguyen Phuong Tra, a student at the Central Pedagogical College, shared at the Dai Nam Red Drops blood donation festival.

The 6th Red Drops of Dai Nam Blood Donation Festival, Phase 2, 2023, is organized to continue and promote the tradition of mutual love of teachers and students of Dai Nam University; at the same time, educate students about the value and benefits of blood donation, each drop of blood donated is a life left behind.

Not only that, through blood donation activities, blood donors are checked for their health and blood quality, thereby raising awareness of health protection; as well as building a blood database for students and lecturers of the whole school to use in emergency cases.

With more than 750 people successfully registering to donate blood on September 20, there were 565 units of blood, reaching 94% of the target. This is the largest number of blood units received by the school to date.
