Dai Nam University enrolls 7.030 students into Full-time undergraduate programs under 04 admission methods in 2023

The Admission Council of Dai Nam University has made an official announcement about the targets and admission methods of formal university system for the academic year 2023 - 2024. Accordingly, this year, Dai Nam University enrolls 4.720 students in 24 undergraduate majors based on 04 admission methods.

4. Admission objects: High school graduates or equivalent

5. Admission methods:

• Method 1: Selection based on the National High School Exam results of three subjects registered for admission: 30% of the total quota for each major.

• Method 2: Selection based on Grade 12’s transcripts of three subjects registered for admission: 60% of the total quota for each major. 

• Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and Dai Nam University: 5% of the total quota for each major. 

• Method 4: Admission for candidates graduated from International High schools: 5% of the total quota for each major. 

6. Admission requirements:

6.1. Method 1: Selection based on the National High School Exam results of 03 subjects registered for admission

Applicants with exam scores that meet the minimum standard threshold set by the university after the announcement of the high school graduation exam results in 2023, except for the Healthcare programs with specific criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

6.2. Method 2: Selection based on Grade 12’s transcripts of 03 subjects registered for admission

• For admission to General Medicine & Pharmacy, applicants are required to ensure Grade 12 academic performance ranked from “Very good" or High school graduation assessment score from 8.0, combined with the total score of 3 subjects from 24.

• For admission to Nursing, applicants are required to ensure Grade 12 academic performance ranked from “Good” or High school graduation assessment score from 6.5, combined with the total score of 3 subjects from 19.5.

• For admission to other majors: The minimum total score of 3 subjects is 18.

6.3. Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the specific regulations of Dai Nam University

In addition to the minimum requirement of High school graduates or equivalent, the candidate is required to ensure one of the direct admission requirements prescribed at Appendix 8 of Dai Nam University admission regulations.

6.4. Method 4: Admission for candidates graduated from International High schools

Applicants are required to ensure graduation from International High school. Based on the candidate’s High school transcripts, the President of the University would consider admission.

8. Tuition fee

-  Students shall pay tuition fee per semester to DNU (3 semesters/ year).

- Fixed tuition fee throughout the course.

9. Application documents:

- Application form (Download the sample DNU application form HERE);

- The original certificate of the National High school exam results (for candidates taking the National High school exam in 2023);

- High school transcripts (notarized copy);

- High school diploma/ Temporary Certificate of High School Graduation (notarized copy);

- Notarized copies of certificates of priority subjects (if any);

- Identity card or ID card (notarized copy);

- Admission fee: 50.000 VND/document.

Note:   

- In addition to registering according to the University’s regulations, all the candidates applying for Dai Nam University admission need to register on the Admission Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training or National Public Service Portal, according to the general plan and guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- The University does not return the application documents for selected candidates in any case.

10. Submission time and admission fee

• For candidates graduated in 2022 and before: Submit application documents from the date of official announcement.

• For candidates graduated in 2023:

• 1st stage: Submit application documents according to the first-stage admission schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training.

• Additional stage: The University will make a detailed announcement after the end of the first enrollment.
