Dai Nam University Student Job Fair 2023: Hundreds of businesses "welcome" students right in the lecture hall

No longer having to grope around, find ways to approach businesses, seek support from family, relatives, etc. to find job opportunities after graduation, students of Dai Nam University (DNU) are recruited directly by businesses at school, proactively choosing job positions that best suit their abilities, strengths, and training majors at the 2023 Student Job Fair - "My Job, My Career", on the morning of May 26.

Bringing students to businesses – welcoming businesses to schools

The festival was organized by the Center for “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” of Dai Nam University in collaboration with nearly 100 large enterprises to create conditions for students, especially final year students, to demonstrate their abilities; approach businesses and employers to find jobs and opportunities for practice, internship and experience. At the same time, it creates conditions for businesses to approach a team of quality young human resources, selecting potential interns for their working positions.

Speaking at the Festival, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University said: "The 2023 Student Job Fair is one of the important activities contributing to the implementation of the career-oriented training policy, ensuring that 100% of graduates have jobs in the right major of Dai Nam University. Student Job Fair 2023 is an event that Dai Nam University students are especially looking forward to.

In order to achieve the goal of 100% of graduates having good jobs and high incomes, Dai Nam University has chosen the option of "twinning" with businesses, promoting many cooperative activities for students to practice early internships at businesses, inviting experts from businesses to participate in teaching and training according to business orders, even paying fees to businesses so that students can practice practical internships.

Extensive cooperation with businesses helps Dai Nam University quickly improve and update training programs in an applied direction, close to the recruitment needs of businesses, helping students to quickly apply theory into practice, ensuring that students can work immediately after graduation, businesses do not need to retrain.

Not only finding suitable job opportunities, the Fair is also an opportunity for students to better understand the actual recruitment process and requirements of businesses, from improving themselves to confidently applying for the desired job positions.

The 2023 Student Job Fair - "My Job, My Career" attracted more than 1,000 final year students to apply to nearly 100 businesses and thousands of second and third year students to search for internship opportunities, practical experience and part-time job opportunities in accordance with their major and training field.

More than 200 job positions (unlimited number of recruitments) related to the school's training majors, such as: Pharmacy, Nursing; Business Administration, English Language, Chinese Language, Korean Language, Japanese Language, IT, Tourism, Accounting, Finance - Banking, Law..., of which about 160 full-time positions, 40 part-time positions have been officially interviewed for recruitment in the 2023 Student Job Fair - "My Job, My Career".

Despite the hot weather, students were still excited and patiently lined up to wait for their turn to be interviewed for job vacancies at businesses.

Depending on the full-time or part-time position, the salary ranges from 6-15 million VND/month. In particular, there are positions with very high starting salaries, up to 30 million VND/month.

To ensure density and avoid heat, the School has arranged 5 interview waiting rooms for students.

Participating in the 2023 Job Fair of Dai Nam University, Hop Luc Corporation - the program's diamond sponsor brings to the Fair more than 20 recruitment positions (unlimited number) in the fields of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Accounting, Economics - Business... and Communications.

At the end of the recruitment interview, nearly 50 candidates from the School's Health sector were accepted and officially became members of Hop Luc Corporation.

The 2023 Job Fair is not only a festival for final year students but also an event that second and third year students are especially looking forward to. Because this is a great opportunity for students to approach businesses, learn about the recruitment process, find part-time job opportunities, and gain internships and experience at businesses.

In particular, being directly trained in CV design and participating in job interviews helps 2nd and 3rd year students better understand their strengths and weaknesses and the actual recruitment requirements of businesses. From there, they can continuously improve themselves to best meet the labor market upon graduation.

In addition, coming to this year’s Job Fair, Dai Nam University students also had the opportunity to visit booths displaying products of businesses; meet and chat with representatives of recruiting units to better understand the company, working environment, requirements of the applied position, etc.
