Dai Nam University summarizes and deploys tasks for the new school year: Responsibility for learners - dedication, companionship and development

On the morning of September 21, 2024, Dai Nam University (DNU) held the Closing Ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year and deployed tasks for the new school year 2024-2025. This event not only evaluated the activities in the past school year but also determined the strategy and goals for the new school year, continuing to carry out the mission of comprehensive development. More than 1,000 cadres, lecturers and staff attended with the determination to achieve excellent results in the new school year.

Outstanding achievements of the 2023-2024 school year

The 2023-2024 school year has marked many important steps forward in enrollment, expanding training scale, international cooperation, and improving facilities. Specifically:

+ Enrollment targets are met. Admission scores increase by 1-3 points compared to the 2022-2023 school year.

+ Training scale reaches more than 15,000 students, with the goal of reaching 25,000 learners by 2027 and 45,000 by 2037.

+ Build facilities at a rapid pace, completing one building per year to meet training needs.

+ Completed accreditation for 08 training programs.

+ Dai Nam University ranked 90/190 universities in Vietnam in the international Webometric ranking.

+ Attracted more than 200 new staff including professors, doctors, and masters from prestigious educational institutions.

+ Open 13 new majors to anticipate future human resource trends.

+ Provide 07 attractive scholarship programs for new students and award nearly 15 billion VND in scholarships to students of all courses.

+ Cooperate with hundreds of large enterprises in training and employment for students.

+ Expand international cooperation with partners from the United States, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

+ Successfully organized the largest international conferences and job events ever.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board, emphasized the importance of solidarity and tireless efforts to overcome challenges and achieve targets in the new school year.

He affirmed that Dai Nam University will continue to promote innovative teaching methods, apply technology in training, and at the same time create learning motivation and job opportunities for students during their studies.

The school is committed to improving the quality of training, not only helping students master professional knowledge but also fully equipping them with the necessary skills for the labor market. Honoring outstanding contributions

During the ceremony, 08 groups and 30 individuals were honored for their excellent performance in the 2023-2024 school year, along with 13 groups and 71 individuals who were honored for their good performance. In addition, the Chairman of the School Board also specially commended the IT department and the Administration - Management department for their outstanding achievements in research, development and emergency response.

The Chairman of the School Board commended the IT department for its outstanding achievements in research and development of software to manage the air conditioning system, wifi system and camera system.

Unexpected reward for the staff of the International Relations Department who quickly overcame the consequences of storm No. 3 - Yagi so that the school's activities could soon return to normal.

The closing ceremony is not only an opportunity to look back on the achievements but also an encouragement for all staff, lecturers and employees to strive for a more successful new school year. Dai Nam University is committed to successfully implementing the strategic goals for the period 2023-2027, towards the vision of 2037 - the 30th anniversary of the school's founding.
