DNU Korean Language and Culture Students Stand Out at Hangeul Festival 2023

Attending the 2023 Hangeul Festival, students of the Korean Language and Culture Department of Dai Nam University stood out with their art performances, winning awards for art performance and painting composition.

The Hangeul Festival is an annual event of Korean Studies and Korean Language training institutions and units to celebrate the founding and declaration of the use of the Hangeul Korean alphabet. This is a useful and interesting academic playground for students of Korean Language and Culture, contributing to further strengthening the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Korea.

Joining in the jubilant atmosphere of Hangeul Festival, Dai Nam students participated in many competition and exchange categories in the program such as: Quiz on Korea, painting, Korean calligraphy, Korean talent contest, etc. Especially, in the Art competition between schools and Korean language training units in the North - Central region, Dai Nam students had an emotional singing and dancing performance, skillfully combining traditional materials with modern spirit. This performance was entirely conceived, practiced and performed by students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, Dai Nam University.

The DNU students' performance was carefully invested and elaborately prepared.

The audience was immersed in the simple, touching Korean singing of Dai Nam students. Not only that, everyone swayed and shook to the strong, energetic K-pop dance moves of the students. The performance of Dai Nam students therefore captured the hearts of the audience, and deserved to win the Second Prize in the Arts competition. This award is a great reward, recognizing the efforts of the teachers and students of the Korean Department of DNU.

Also at the Festival, Dai Nam students won an encouragement prize in the Painting Competition category, making their mark with their ingenuity and creativity.

Through each big event, the students grow up, shine together and burn out on stage. The efforts of the students contribute to beautifying the image and brand of Dai Nam University in the eyes of the community.
