DNU students practice their profession and skills through short-term courses with technology experts

In order to improve and standardize the quality of training, aiming at the goal of training high-quality human resources in the field of computer science and information technology; recently, the Faculty of Computer Science of Dai Nam University organized a short-term course "Strategic Incubator" taught by expert Nguyen Manh Hung - Clover Technology Solutions Company.

The course has the participation of students from the Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technology, Programming Club, young people passionate about technology inside and outside Dai Nam University. Each class has a lecturer from the Faculty of Computer Science on duty and supporting the students.

In the course, expert Nguyen Manh Hung focused on clarifying core issues in Machine learning and Deep learning: Machine and deep learning introduction; Introduction to machine learning; Supervises learning principles; Data processing; Data processing, Model processing, Results analysis, Deep learning for image processing.

Expert Nguyen Manh Hung shares with students core issues about machine learning and deep learning.

The course helps students supplement a lot of specialized knowledge in each stage, specifically as follows:

• Phase 1: BE and FE approach Fresher level. In this phase, students will learn basic BA, mockup screen, design DB; use basic C#.NET MVC technology, and perform basic HTML design operations.
• Phase 2: BE and FE approach Junior level (can do a basic project by themselves); Tester, Android, Ios approach fresher level. Here, students switch to using Single Paper App technology; C# .NET core web API technology with medium-level techniques (CRUD REST API, Unit of work, some basic design patterns); work with ReactJS technology; understand testcase design level and design unit test at basic level.
• Phase 3: BE and FE approach middle level (have experience, can independently design a project); Tester, Android, Ios reach junior/mid level. This phase will help students grasp advanced techniques beyond basic level 2 (advanced design patterns, optimizing processing speed, optimizing memory...); Working with advanced ReactJS technology.
• Phase 4: Soft skills training, increasing students' competitiveness after graduation. During this phase, students are trained in management/work arrangement skills; human resource management (motivating, arranging personnel, etc.)

With a coherent and humorous presentation and vivid, practical examples, expert Nguyen Manh Hung brought a lively and exciting atmosphere to the lessons. The students applied the lecture knowledge well in the practical part of writing code to run the program.

After the course, students must take a knowledge assessment test. If they pass this test, they will be awarded a certificate of course completion.

They absorb quickly and apply well the knowledge they have learned to the assigned exercises. Their working attitude is also very professional. Short-term courses are not only an opportunity for students to improve their knowledge and practice their skills, but also help them increase their confidence; quickly adapt to job requirements, and be ready to enter the labor market.
