DNU teachers excitedly "unbox" the billion-dollar Central Building

The working environment is one of the important factors that help businesses develop and "retain" talent. Sometimes, employees decide to stay with a business for a long time because of the environment instead of the "high salary". Understanding that, Dai Nam University always strives to build a modern, comfortable working environment, open space with office design, facilities, machinery, convenient equipment... And after many days of waiting, the Central Building (the workplace of nearly 1,000 staff, lecturers and employees) has officially come into operation since July 2023.

Located on the most prime land of the school with the most modern and luxurious design equivalent to a 6-star hotel, the central building was "unsealed" in the new school year 2023 - 2024 as a working area exclusively for DNU staff and lecturers. Moving to the "new home" headquarters, the staff, lecturers and employees are all excited and happy to work in a spacious and comfortable environment; inspiring creativity, enthusiasm and dedication to the career of "growing people" of DNU staff and lecturers.

The Central Building is designed very modernly, ensuring maximum functionality. All offices are invested with modern equipment to best meet the needs of work, ensuring all working conditions, inspiring creativity and enthusiasm for the career of "growing people" of DNU.

Startled by the rapid change of DNU

Mr. Duong Minh Tu - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration excitedly said: “Moving to the new house, my first feeling is nostalgia. For teachers who have been with DNU for many years, surely everyone remembers the location of the Central Building which used to be a lovely palm island. But now it is located in a spacious, modern building. Sometimes I am surprised by the rapid changes of DNU. I always want to upgrade myself to keep up with the development of DNU. I am truly proud to be a member of DNU”.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Hue - Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy confided: "With a large family and a lot of money, the relocation of the Faculty of Pharmacy was somewhat difficult and time-consuming. Thanks to the consensus of the "families of the Faculty of Pharmacy", the enthusiastic support of the school's Board of Directors and related Departments, the Faculty of Pharmacy has completed the move to a new house. The joy and happiness on the faces of each member, now, we have for ourselves a spacious, modern, warm "apartment", filled with love".

And indeed, DNU is very beautiful, very professional, very worth working for, to love for a long time".

Mr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy shared: “Honestly, since the plan to move my office to the Central Building, I didn't care what kind of room I worked in, what the location was... I just thought that the school arranged it so I could use it, without any demands or requests. But when I moved to the new house, I was really surprised by one thing after another. The office is so beautiful, I am extremely satisfied. The elevator, 5-star toilet, rooms are filled with light. Thank you to the school's Board of Directors and related departments for giving me and the staff, lecturers and employees a wonderful working space".

Ms. Le Thi My Ngoc - Head of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management expressed: “I was really surprised when I stepped into the new office of the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The room was bright, the view was beautiful, bringing inspiration to the teachers to work enthusiastically. Not only me but all the teachers in the Faculty checked in before the ceremony to enter the room. Thank you to the School's Board of Directors for always caring, supporting and creating conditions for the school's staff, lecturers and employees to work with peace of mind".

Mr. Le The Anh - Head of the Accounting Department said: "I am always proud of the professional and meticulous working style of the school's Board of Directors and related departments, from sending detailed email notifications to assigning people to support the room move. Moving to the new office, I was even more surprised when each work position, power outlet, network line... were arranged neatly, modernly, delicately and conveniently. I believe that in the new house, the work will have many innovations to better educate, train and serve the community."

Ms. Do Thu Huong - Head of Training shared: “Having been with the school since its inception, I have moved offices many times, but the official “residence” at the Central Building still makes me emotional. This is the most beautiful building in DNU today and we are lucky to own it. The new, spacious and modern house, overlooking the student street with poetic bougainvillea rows, makes us extremely excited. The new school year, the new office will certainly create more excitement for the staff of the Training Department to work hard for an increasingly strong Dai Nam”.

Ms. Pham Thi Dung - Deputy Director of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" expressed: "Everyone is excited and full of enthusiasm when moving to a new, beautiful, spacious and modern office and I am no exception. Since coming here, I have not had to turn on the lights. The new office with lots of natural light, open space and beautiful "view" is a great catalyst for me and my colleagues to have more creative inspiration and love our work and Dai Nam University even more".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham - lecturer of the Faculty of Accounting confided: "Everyone knows that I am a simple person, who likes simple, rustic things... and what a coincidence that the new office of the Faculty of Accounting has a "very poetic" view with abundant natural light, in the distance is the beautiful Bach Lien lotus pond, the green royal poinciana trees are starting to dot with bright red flowers. I am excited about the strong change of the University and happy to be a member of Dai Nam University. I will definitely accompany Dai Nam for many more years to come".

Mr. Nguyen Truong Huy - lecturer of the Faculty of Tourism is delighted: "The school really favors the Faculty of Tourism with the "Emperor" position. Not only looking to the South, the direction where "the saints face the South and listen to the world", in the distance there is also the Hai Phat building as a court, on the left and right there are the Left Dragon, Right Tiger buildings which are the Startup building and Yen Nghia Station, behind there is the GĐ1 building. The dike is QL21B running right in front from left to right, so the ancients called this the Emperor position. It is really exciting to enjoy this million dollar view".

From the new office, we can look straight at the beautiful sun gate, watching students coming to school. I feel extremely excited and can't wait to welcome medical students to the Faculty's new home."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh - Lecturer of the English Language Department excitedly said: “Working at DNU for 12 years, I have witnessed the school's transformation and "change of skin" every day. Every time a new building is inaugurated, I am extremely excited. It feels like my family has finished building a new house. All the teachers of the English Language Department are excited to move house, clean up, and arrange furniture together... Colleagues are more connected, and the working spirit is also more enthusiastic. We are ready for the new school year and welcome new students of K17 to the roof full of love - Dai Nam University".

Ms. Pham Thi To Nga - Deputy Head of Information Technology Faculty was moved: "The cool weather with a few light rains made the moving day even more special. All of us, from the faculty leaders to the staff, lecturers and students, joined hands to clean, transport and decorate the new office. There was no distance at that time, only love and family connection. It was such a joy to wear the Dai Nam shirt".

Ms. Le Thi Thao Linh - Training Department Specialist shared: “I don’t know how many photos I have checked in in front of the Headquarters building, but when I actually moved here, I was still very excited and emotional. The house is beautiful, the location is beautiful and most of all, it is close to many departments, very convenient for connecting work; sharing experiences, joys in life. I really like this cozy and warm working environment”.
