English Club of Faculty of Business Administration "launched": Opportunity to "upgrade" foreign languages and become global citizens for DNU students

Training foreign languages for students, especially English; aiming at the goal of training students to integrate internationally is the motto of Dai Nam University. Imbued with the philosophy and educational motto of the University, recently, the Faculty of Business Administration officially "launched" the DNU English Club.

DNU strives to promote English training for students

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board affirmed: "Foreign languages are not only a supplementary tool but also a "weapon" for international integration, expanding career opportunities for students".

Therefore, Dai Nam University always focuses on foreign language training for students, especially English; aiming to train students to integrate internationally. Accordingly, the University constantly innovates the program based on the contributions of leading experts in the field of languages from many prestigious universities nationwide. Students will gradually experience a 100% foreign-style teaching program in English from the first year and have the opportunity to study with native teachers with TESOL certificates from prestigious organizations nationwide such as Atlantic, British Council, etc.

In particular, to maximize the experience between learning and practice, improve students' qualifications and skills, and expand internship and work opportunities for students, Dai Nam University is constantly expanding its cooperation with leading English education businesses and organizations in Vietnam. Including IMAP Vietnam Education and Training Joint Stock Company - Ms. Hoa International English; ensuring foreign language proficiency for students.

In addition, the School supports and creates all conditions for the Faculties to establish academic clubs; English competitions; experiential activities, exchanges with foreign students and lecturers, etc.

English Club of Faculty of Business Administration - a useful and practical academic playground for students

The English Club of the Faculty of International Business was established to create a useful and healthy playground, increase opportunities for exchange and learning, share experiences, improve knowledge and perfect English skills; enhance the competitive advantage of students of the Faculty of International Business of Dai Nam University in the global labor market in the future.

The first "meeting" of the English Club of the Faculty of Business Administration.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thuong - Head of the English Club of the Faculty of Business Administration said: In addition to fostering English knowledge and skills; students are also trained and developed in communication and presentation skills, soft skills such as cooperation skills, communication skills, self-study skills, teamwork skills, activity organization skills, etc.

Every week, the Club meets regularly on Friday afternoons, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Here, Club members practice using English in communication, study, career and society. All meetings have the participation of sharing and orientation from teachers inside and outside the Faculty; helping students have many opportunities to exchange, connect and practice English.

Connect and foster team spirit in English challenges.

Not only "limited" to regular sharing, the English Club of the Faculty of Business Administration regularly organizes picnics, New Year, Halloween, Valentine, Teach's day, and speaking competitions; trains Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing skills through foreign film screenings (without Vietnamese subtitles), exchanges content and writes reviews about the film; builds an English bookshelf.

In addition, club members also have the opportunity to talk (online, offline) with foreign volunteers to better understand the culture, customs and people of other countries; at the same time, increase their English Listening and Speaking reflexes, and expand their international circle of friends.

Currently, the Club has successfully organized 02 activities, attracting a large number of students of the Faculty of International Business to participate, especially the new students of K17. This shows that the "new recruits" of the Faculty of International Business pay great attention to English and have a clear orientation for their future career.

Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan - a student of QTKD class 17.07 shared: "Joining the English Club not only creates opportunities for me to connect with teachers, friends, and seniors, but also helps me explore, confidently assert myself, determine my learning path, practice foreign languages; and orient my career development towards internationalization."

The establishment of the English Club of the Faculty of Business Administration is a practical activity that needs to be expanded and promoted further in the Faculties of Dai Nam University.
