Even employers were surprised by the CV of a second-year student at Dai Nam University.

"Professional and classy" is the assessment of recruitment experts on the CV (Curriculum Vitae) - the personal profile of K15 - the second year student class of Dai Nam University under the guidance of teachers of the Soft Skills Training and Development Department. This is an important profile, the "entrance ticket" that any student needs when entering the labor market. Dai Nam University is determined not to let students be "failed" by employers just because their CV is not impressive, has limited information, is messy and lacks interview skills.
Writing CV and answering interview questions is one of the interesting testing forms of the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development, aiming to reduce the pressure of exams, assess students' knowledge and skills in a comprehensive and flexible way. This testing form received enthusiastic response from K15 students.
Accordingly, to “own” an outstanding CV, students can use Canva, TopCV or professional design software to create a resume with their own personality and style. However, they still have to ensure the necessary information of a CV such as: personal information, education, work experience, skills, career goals, certificates, awards, etc.
CVs of IT students are presented clearly, concisely but completely.
This year's exam scoring method is different as teachers are not the only judges. In addition, the businesses participating in the DNU 2023 Job Fair will be the ones to decide the scores of the young people.
At the program, students will submit their applications and participate in interviews at recruitment booths. Businesses will directly evaluate students’ CVs and interview skills. Through this, students will gain experience in writing CVs and answering interviews, while increasing their chances of getting part-time jobs.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of Soft Skills Training and Development Department shared: “CV and interview skills are the “passport” for students when applying for jobs in businesses. These are necessary skills that need to be practiced because not all students know how to write a CV. With the attention and support from the School and businesses, we hope that Dai Nam University students will confidently enter the labor market and “conquer” the most demanding employers.”
