First-year PhD students of Economic Management successfully defended their research proposal.

On March 12, 2023, with the approval of the School's Board of Directors, the Graduate Training Institute organized a Council to evaluate the doctoral student's thesis and a meeting program with the School's Board of Directors, leaders of the Graduate Training Institute, supervisors and the first class of Economic Management PhD students of the School.

There are 3 councils to evaluate the research proposals of PhD students. The members of the Council are all scientists and experienced teachers, who have given opinions, suggestions and recommendations to perfect the research direction for PhD students.

After a period of serious and urgent work, the councils evaluated and gave comments to complete the research outlines for 12 PhD students. The research topics of the PhD students were assessed as being of good quality, with many new and creative points, and high scientific content.

In 2022, Dai Nam University officially launched the first PhD training course in Economic Management. Currently, the school has 12 PhD students studying. During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong gave an opening speech to thank the PhD students for their trust in the school, and at the same time thanked the cooperation of scientists and lecturers accompanying the school during the training process. The school's principal is very confident and hopes that the PhD students will ensure the implementation on schedule.

At the meeting and information exchange in training, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien introduced in detail the doctoral training process; Rights and responsibilities of PhD students and supervisors; Requirements and conditions for thesis defense and notes during the learning and research process of PhD students. The information of Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Lien is truly useful and practical information for PhD students and supervisors. At the same time, the leaders of the Graduate Training Institute shared their encouragement with the difficulties in studying of PhD students. Most of them work and study at the same time, so PhD students face many difficulties in terms of time. In particular, with a PhD degree, students are required to study and work scientifically at a much higher level than the Master's degree in both quality and quantity. Therefore, in addition to the support of the School, PhD students must really try hard, consider studying as an important personal task to invest time and effort to ensure the quality of the thesis as well as complete the course on schedule.

Scientists have shared many practical experiences for PhD students, providing more information to support PhD students in the learning and research process: Emphasizing that PhD students need to choose topics with few "keywords" and increase meetings and exchanges with supervisors to ensure the right progress; PhD students also need to pay special attention to the "Overview of documents" section and scientific articles.

Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen The Anh - representative of the PhD students also shared some difficulties in the process of studying and researching. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude to the School, especially the Graduate Training Institute, for always accompanying, supporting, and providing information so that the PhD students have the best conditions for studying and researching. He also promised to try and make efforts so that the PhD students class can ensure the correct learning progress as set out, with the slogan "No one is left behind".

The Council evaluated the research outline and the meeting program for the first course of Economic Management students was a great success, demonstrating the special attention of the School to the quality of training.
