For the first time in history, a university has sponsored Vietnamese sports to participate in an international tournament.

This morning, April 11, at the Announcement of Sponsors and Introduction Ceremony of the VTVCab Cup 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championship, Dai Nam University was announced as the main sponsor of the National Women's Volleyball Team participating in the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championship taking place at Vinh Phuc Provincial Gymnasium from April 25 to May 2, 2023. This is the first time in history that a university has sponsored Vietnamese sports to participate in international competitions.

Attending the Sponsor Announcement Ceremony and introducing the VTVCab Cup 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, on behalf of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, there was Mr. Tran Duc Phan - Deputy Director General of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

On the Sponsor side, there were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal of Dai Nam University, representative of the tournament's Financial Sponsor; Mr. Nguyen Van Ninh - Deputy General Director of VTVCab - comprehensive partner of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and the Cup's Name Sponsor.

On the side of the tournament host, there was Mr. Bui Hong Do - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc Province.

On behalf of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, there was the presence of Mr. Le Dac Lam - Vice President of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation; Mr. Tran Thanh Tung - Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal of Dai Nam University shared about the activities accompanying the National Women's Volleyball Team.

With the trust of the Asian Volleyball Federation, from April 25 to May 2, 2023, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation will host the VTVCab Cup Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship 2023 at Vinh Yen City Gymnasium, Vinh Phuc Province.

The tournament has the participation of 09 national championship teams from the continent, including: China, Japan, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam.

Vietnam's representative participating in the VTVCab Cup Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship 2023 is the Sport Center 1 team. The main participants are members of the Vietnam National Women's Volleyball Team and Sport Center 1 is used to become a new Vietnamese club - the strongest women's volleyball club in Vietnam at present.

This is a tournament for the team to compete with strong clubs in Asia before the 32nd SEA Games held next May in Cambodia.

Dai Nam University is the main sponsor of the National Women's Volleyball Team participating in the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championship.

Sharing about the policy of accompanying the National Women's Volleyball Team to compete in the 2023 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University said: "As the main sponsor, Dai Nam University wishes to accompany Vietnamese sports, bringing Vietnamese volleyball to the big sea.
