The ease of applying for a job as a worker in industrial parks (no degree required, no experience required, as long as you are young and healthy) with a salary of up to tens of millions of VND/month (overtime 12-14 hours/day) helps solve most of the immediate needs, making many young people willing to give up their university dreams to go to work early.

However, if we calculate in the long term after the retirement age is over and the employee is laid off, where will the employee go when their youth is gone and they no longer have a degree?

In addition, many families orient their children to work abroad, willing to spend a large deposit in the hope of "changing their lives" after 4-5 years of working abroad. This is also a good solution to the problem of "heavy work, high salary, high expenses". However, the problem is that after 4-5 years of working abroad, it is difficult to have a stable long-term job when returning home without a degree...

Reality has proven that going to work early can help solve the immediate economic problem, but its consequences for individuals, families and society are huge. The 4.0 technology revolution has been strongly affecting and changing people's lives every hour, every day. Dr. Le Tham Duong - founder of the PR Business School analyzed: " Bill Gates is the person who studies the most, so American universities are forced to invite him as an honorary professor. Bill Gates also always advises young people that if they want to succeed, they must study. Or Steve Jobs also shared that no one succeeds without studying."

Studies also show that 80% of poor people in society have no education beyond high school; 90% of rich people have a university education or higher.

A university degree is an important passport that takes you to domestic and international agencies, businesses, and organizations…” Dr. Le Dac Son shared.

According to Dr. Le Tham Duong, the reason why many university graduates are unemployed is because global standards are not met. “If you don’t go to university, how can you have global capacity and thinking? Vocational schools only teach you skills. University level helps you understand and solve problems and it is suitable for the current era of everything developing like this.”

Dr. Le Dac Son commented: If high school teaches culture, lifestyle, how to be a human and basic knowledge to integrate into society, then university teaches how to think, how to develop knowledge to solve problems at a high level to serve the purpose of making a living, enriching oneself, family and society in a sustainable way.

Dr. Gian Tu Trung also affirmed: “Studying at university will help us gain knowledge, get a degree, get a job and become the person we want to be, live the life we dream of…”

A college degree offers long-term career opportunities

A university degree is an important passport that takes you to domestic and international agencies, businesses and organizations.

Nowadays, many students after graduating from high school do not intend to continue their studies but decide to work as factory workers or overseas workers. The short-term vision shows that they have just solved the problem of "having a job and income". However, in the long term, the possibility of promotion is very low, easily eliminated when youth and health decline, unemployment when old... If going to university, that will never happen. 4 methods of admission to Dai Nam University in 2023

In 2023, Dai Nam University will enroll 7,030 full-time university students in 24 training majors in 4 groups: Health, Engineering - Technology, Economics - Business, Social Sciences.

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Candidates whose exam results meet the quality assurance threshold prescribed by the School after receiving the 2023 high school graduation exam results, except for the Health Sector, as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 3 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

• Medicine and Pharmacy majors must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 24 points.
• Nursing major must have a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 19.5 points.
• For other majors: total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination ≥ 18 points.

Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent, candidates must meet one of the regulations on direct admission specified in Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations of Dai Nam University.

Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

Admission major: Medicine (50 quotas).

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent as above, candidates applying for admission must meet the mandatory condition of graduating from high school abroad or in Vietnam. Based on the candidate's high school study results, the Principal of Dai Nam University will consider and decide on admission.
