“It is undeniable that young people today are very quick-witted and intelligent, but they have a common characteristic: they lack modesty, have a high ego, have illusions about their own strength, and demand benefits without doing anything or demonstrating their abilities. We have had to reject candidates many times despite their impressive academic achievements. However, when they came to Dai Nam University, what impressed the recruiters most was that Dai Nam students were very modest, polite and professional. Thanks to those factors, we immediately recruited 50 candidates. What do employers need from candidates?
There are countless job opportunities for new graduates. The proof is that there are many companies posting recruitment notices for employees at the Junior and Fresher levels (new graduates, little experience), meaning they are willing to recruit people with little experience to work and retrain. However, unemployment is still at an “alarming” level and businesses are seriously lacking in people. What is the reason?

Their skills and attitudes are not as we expected. Many of them are quite “delusional” about themselves and have excessive “demands” for benefits while not bringing any value to the company”.

The decisive factor in recruiting students by businesses is skills, enthusiasm, progressive spirit and professional attitude.
“In addition to basic knowledge, young candidates need to equip themselves with social knowledge, computer skills, foreign languages, presentation skills, negotiation skills, etc. In particular, it is necessary to cultivate a professional and clear working attitude, be ready to accept tasks and challenges, and not be afraid of work or rely on their own abilities to show off. Remember that attitude is always valued more highly by employers than qualifications, because that is the deciding factor in whether candidates will stay with the company long term or not.”
