Introduction to the Examination Room

1. FUNCTIONS OF EXAMINATION ROOM:

The Examination Department is a unit of Dai Nam University, directly managed by the Board of Directors, with the following functions:
- The Examination Department has the function of advising and assisting the School Council and the Board of Directors in organizing, managing, implementing and performing the tasks of examination work;
- Responsible for implementing testing activities in the school according to regulations and achieving goals;
- Advise and support the Board of Directors in assessing compliance with regulations and laws on testing of units directly related to training.

2. DUTIES OF THE EXAMINATION DEPARTMENT:

- Develop strategies, goals and action plans for the School's testing activities;
- Preside and coordinate with units to develop, promulgate, and update regulations, rules, procedures, and forms related to the organization of testing, evaluation, and final exams.
- Take charge of organizing the development of exam questions and question banks, periodically review and supplement the question bank to ensure that it meets the objectives and output standards of the course and training program;
- Manage exam questions, question banks, duplicate and distribute exam questions, and store exam questions according to regulations;
- Preside over the organization of exams, grading, re-grading, post-checking and complaints related to final exam scores and retention of exam papers according to regulations;
- Coordinate with the Training Department to guide units in implementing testing tasks according to the regulations and plans of the School. Monitor and inspect the implementation of documents on testing work after they are issued;
- Research and develop new testing and assessment methods. Propose innovations and improvements in testing, inspection and assessment;
- Analysis and evaluation of training quality based on test data;
- Develop plans and chair training courses and organize training for examiners and lecturers on examination work, assessment methods and building test question banks;
- Guide units to implement inspection and evaluation tasks that have been trained according to regulations and issued plans;
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Principal.

3. AUTHORITY OF THE EXAMINATION DEPARTMENT:

- The Examination Department has the right to propose to the Faculties, Divisions, and Departments measures to implement regulations and work on examination work;
- The Examination Department has the right to make recommendations to the Principal to resolve issues of violations of the School's examination regulations.
