Japanese enterprise awards "huge" scholarships to Dai Nam students

As one of the major faculties in the Language Department of Dai Nam University, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture affirms its position through strategic cooperation with the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN, GAG Japanese Language Academy and leading enterprises in Japan. Students of Japanese Language not only study in a modern environment, high-quality training programs but also enjoy "huge" scholarship policies from the School, Faculty and enterprises. To commend and encourage the learning spirit of students; recently, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture continued to award corporate scholarships to students with high results in the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year with a total scholarship value of up to 1 billion VND.

Attending the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were: representatives of the Board of Directors; leaders, staff, lecturers and all students with excellent academic achievements in the first semester of the 2022-2023 school year.

On the business side, there were: Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - Principal of GAG Japanese Language Academy and Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka; Mr. Sakammoto - Vice Chairman of the Japanese Language Association for Non-Chinese Language Countries (JLAN); Mr. Vu Hoang Duc - Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Japan; Mr. Hirofumi Oga - General Director of OHG Japan Co., Ltd.; Ms. Luong Lan Anh - Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Kyushu Vietnamese Enterprises.

At the program, Dr. Vu Thuy Nga - Head of the Department of Japanese Language and Culture affirmed: The scholarship fund not only has material value but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement for students of the Department of Japanese Language and Culture.

It is known that the Scholarship Fund of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture is sponsored by the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN, GAG Japanese Language Academy and Japanese Enterprises - strategic partners of the Faculty with a total value of more than 2 billion VND. This scholarship is maintained throughout the school years with appropriate criteria and policies for each school year.

With the aim of encouraging and motivating students with high achievements in university entrance exams, achieving high results in studying, striving to learn Japanese well, having excellent achievements in competitions inside and outside the school. Up to now, the program has awarded scholarships to more than 100 students of K14 and K15 courses with a value of up to more than 1 billion VND.

Students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Dai Nam University, received "huge" scholarships from the Faculty and businesses.

Over the years, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture has built many rich, diverse and attractive scholarship mechanisms for students who have, are and will study at the Faculty such as: Business Scholarship; Experience Scholarship in Japan; FJLC Scholarship; Japanese Language Proficiency Scholarship; Encouragement Scholarship (Students with difficulties and good academic performance),... In addition, students also receive Encouragement Scholarship worth 100%, 50% of tuition fee for the first semester of the first year; Encouragement Scholarship or high-quality class scholarship according to the school's annual scholarship fund.

In particular, Dai Nam University students are also financially supported when doing internships and gaining experience at businesses right from the first year and throughout the course with paid internships, part-time and official work at businesses. In addition, the training program is shortened from 0.5 - 1 year/course (depending on the training major) to help students save hundreds of millions of VND in expenses during their university studies.

Mr. Vu Hoang Duc - Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Japan congratulated the excellent students receiving scholarships; at the same time, he committed to accompany and help students of the Japanese Language Department throughout their study at the school as well as when applying to the Japanese market.

Mr. Vu Hoang Duc said he will create conditions for students of the Japanese Language and Culture Department of Dai Nam University after graduation.

4 admission methods for Japanese Language major at Dai Nam University:

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Japanese Language Department (code: 7220209) of Dai Nam University will enroll 100 full-time university students according to 4 admission methods:

- Method 1: Consider 2023 high school graduation exam scores.

- Method 2: Admission based on 12th grade high school transcript (Average score of 12th grade according to the combination of 3 subjects for admission ≥ 18 points).

- Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

- Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.
