K15 students enjoy the contest "Dai Nam Film Festival - The New Wave"

The appearance of the contest “Dai Nam Film Festival – The New Wave” has attracted a lot of attention from students of Dai Nam University. From sitting in front of the small screen, now boys and girls can start producing their own short films.
“Dai Nam Film Festival” is a practical project of the Advanced Soft Skills subject for K15 students. The competition is organized by the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development to arouse and promote the talents and creativity of students; thoroughly apply theory and skills into practice.
“With this competition, the Department of Soft Skills Training and Development hopes that young people will apply teamwork, communication, presentation skills, etc. well. At the same time, they will learn new skills and experiences such as script writing, acting, filming, editing, etc. Who knows, young people will “pocket” for themselves a second job,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Soft Skills Training and Development.
Discuss and build the script together.
Students are excited to produce films themselves.
Luu Thanh Cong, a student of the English Language Department, shared: “Making a film was an unforgettable experience for me when I first acted in front of the camera; sitting down to study the script, research the characters and practice like a professional actor. Through this project, the connection between me and my friends became stronger, we understood and sympathized with each other more.”
Nguyen Van Viet, a student of the English Language Department, said: “At first, it was a bit difficult because we were outsiders and the schedules of the members were different, so we had to meet and divide tasks online. However, the consensus and understanding helped the whole team overcome all challenges, come up with good ideas together, and complete a satisfactory work together.”
Non-professional actors "discover" talent.
Nguyen Thi Thuy, a student of the English Language Department, confided: “Through this project, I learned how to plan, manage time, build and use funds economically and effectively. An interesting thing is that all members were assigned roles. Thanks to that, I realized that I have very talented friends who act very naturally.”
