Launching Student Research Club - A future launch pad for young researchers

Recently, the Faculty of Pharmacy officially launched the Student Scientific Research Club (NCKH) – an intellectual playground for students of Dai Nam University. The club was established to promote the spirit of proactiveness and active participation in scientific research for students; at the same time, create a favorable environment for young researchers to promote creativity, hone their skills, brighten their academic profiles, expand career opportunities and launch pads for the future.
The launching ceremony of the Student Scientific Research Club attracted great attention from staff, lecturers, students of Dai Nam University as well as representatives of businesses.
Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Student Scientific Research Club, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Department of Science Management and Development Cooperation affirmed: Scientific research is one of the important tasks of Dai Nam University, which is of great concern to the school's leadership. Students participating in scientific research are not only provided with funding to carry out the topic, but also have priority points added to their average academic score when considering semester rewards and graduation classification; excellent topics are selected for the Science and Technology Award for students organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, Dai Nam University has 04 student scientific research topics selected and proposed to participate in the consideration of the Student Science and Technology Award. Among them is the topic "Evaluation of the stability of Verapamil hydrochloride 120mg floating tablets produced experimentally at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University" conducted by a group of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien commented: The establishment of the Scientific Research Club certainly motivates students to continue to explore, create and spread scientific research activities to students throughout the school.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Hue - Head of Pharmacy Department affirmed: "For the health sector, especially the pharmaceutical industry, it is necessary to conduct scientific research to produce health care products with intellectual content, scientific basis, meeting the practical needs of society... Thus, new products can stand firm in the market and affirm their brand".
Ms. Vinh Hue is committed to developing a student scientific research club with "quality - efficiency - respect for creativity".
On the business side, Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of Thuan Thanh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company said: Students who participate in scientific research and win awards are often more highly regarded when recruiting.

Through the sharing of the speakers, future young researchers can more easily visualize the process of conducting scientific research, how to search and process reference documents in the process of conducting scientific research most effectively, experience in choosing topics, how to overcome difficulties and create excitement when doing research...
To help students better understand scientific research, the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Pharmacy invited speakers with seniority in the field of education and a lot of experience in scientific research to share at the program.
The launching ceremony of the Scientific Research Club brought useful and practical lessons, spreading scientific research activities to students throughout the school. From 17 initial members, the number of students registering to join the Club increased sharply right after the end of the program.
On behalf of the Club members, Tran Kieu Anh - a student of Pharmacy class 13.06, Club President, expressed her gratitude to the School's Board of Directors for creating a useful intellectual playground for students; at the same time, she promised to work with the Board of Directors and members to promote their roles and tasks to organize the Club's activities well, further promoting scientific research activities in the student community of Dai Nam University.
