Outstanding marks of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" after 6 months of establishment

The establishment of the “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” Center aims to strengthen the connection between the School – Enterprises – Students; realizing the aspiration of 100% of Dai Nam University students having jobs in their majors after graduation. After 06 months of operation, the “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” Center has “reaped” many impressive results, gradually affirming its reputation and appeal to society.

Impressive numbers

In March 2023, the "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center officially came into operation. With the mission of "Accompanying and supporting students, connecting with parents, alumni, and employers to develop together for life" , the Center always strives to build and expand cooperative relationships with prestigious domestic and foreign businesses, corporations, and training institutions; organize skills training classes, academic playgrounds; connect, introduce jobs, and accompany students throughout their career and startup journey.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University presented the decision to appoint Ms. Pham Thi Dung as Deputy Director of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship".

After 6 months of operation, the Center has achieved many impressive results: Connecting hundreds of prestigious businesses nationwide, ensuring "addresses" for practice, internships and jobs for students; successfully organizing "Job Fair" with the participation of more than 100 businesses, more than 300 part-time and full-time jobs with unlimited quantity; 1,200 applications with nearly 600 students recruited right in the classroom. Many students receive "huge" salaries of up to 25 million VND/month right after graduation.

Hundreds of DNU students were recruited by businesses right at the "Job Fair" program.

Successfully organized a CV writing and interview skills training course for hundreds of final year students. The training sessions were taught directly by experts and recruiters with many years of experience in businesses. Successfully organized the "Impressive CV Writing" contest, attracting hundreds of participants from all courses.

Collaborated with 02 large organizations and enterprises to organize the Startup Competition "Social Innovation Launch 2023" - A launching pad for social innovation ideas. Right from the application round, 217 candidates from 46 high schools and universities across the country registered to participate.

Especially the companionship and cooperation of business partners across the country”, said Ms. Pham Thi Dung - Deputy Director of the Center for “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship”.

Businesses trust DNU staff recruitment

The Center for “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” is gradually affirming its reputation and appeal to society; becoming a trusted address for businesses to “order” human resources.

Mr. Bui Van Thai - Human Resources Director of FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company said: "The connection of the "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center helps us have many opportunities to participate in school activities, directly contact and "assess" potential human resources right from the classroom. This helps us save costs and time in recruitment and training; and strengthens the long-term cooperative relationship between the two sides".

There are currently more than 200 students from Dai Nam University working at FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Many of them are holding managerial positions.

Dai Nam University signed a training cooperation agreement with FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong commits to create conditions and receive DNU students to practice and intern with salary up to 12 million VND/month.

A solid launch pad for generations of students

Bui Ba Tu – a student of the Faculty of Business Administration shared: “The Center for “Student Employment and Entrepreneurship” has coached and oriented me on my future development path and career. I feel more confident about my journey ahead.”

With a firm grasp of CV writing skills, DNU students confidently conquer employers right from their second year.

Ngo Thi Ngoc Anh - a former student of the English Language Department expressed: "The most wonderful thing that I have been given is that the Center not only helped me find a job but more importantly, that job is suitable for my future orientation, strengths and interests. The Center still regularly asks, cares and is always ready to support me when needed. Even though I have graduated, I still feel secure because I always have the support of my teachers and the School behind me."

Nguyen Thi Quynh Anh - a former student of Pharmacy class 12.08 said: "Previously, my CV writing skills were zero. I was rejected many times because my CV was not impressive. But after participating in the school's skills training course, I learned how to create an impressive, scientific, correct and accurate CV that meets the employer's requirements. The proof is that I received a "nod" from the company right after graduation."

Do Minh Thuy - a former student of the Faculty of Tourism shared: "The establishment of the Center has opened up opportunities for us former students to return to school to share skills and experiences with younger students; at the same time, access human resources and recruit our own "juniors" to work; expand the circle of connections and solidarity of generations of Dai Nam University students".

The support of the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" certainly creates a solid stepping stone for Dai Nam University students to confidently enter the labor market, affirming their Intelligence - Talent - Strength in domestic and foreign enterprises. It is expected that in the coming time, the Center for "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" will continue to expand business connections; organize the "Job Fair" program with a scale twice that of 2022; organize knowledge - skills training courses; useful academic competitions, ... determined to achieve the goal of 100% of graduates having jobs in their majors with high incomes.
