"Rain" of compliments from businesses for the "excellent" CV writing and interview skills of a 2nd year DNU student

Nearly 100 businesses participating in the 2023 Job Fair - "My Job, My Career" highly appreciated the professional knowledge, career skills and professional attitude of Dai Nam University students. In particular, K15 students (2nd year) received a "shower" of compliments from businesses for their impressive CV writing and interview skills. Many students received a "nod" from businesses right at the Fair and found themselves a satisfactory part-time job.

Writing CV and answering interview questions is one of the interesting test forms in the Advanced Soft Skills training program of the Faculty of Soft Skills Training and Development, Dai Nam University. Through this test, students know how to design an impressive, scientific, and informative CV; at the same time, equip themselves with the skills to answer fluently, accurately, affirm strengths, personality, etc. Confidently "conquer" employers, say no to unemployment after graduation just because of lack and weakness of basic skills.

To complete this special test, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the school decided to let nearly 1,000 K15 students register to take the test directly at the Job Fair to be interviewed directly by businesses. Here, young people will choose a recruitment booth that suits their major and interests to submit their CVs and participate in 1:1 interviews.

DNU students confidently "conquer" employers with their talent and skills.

Quick and professional working style, scientific, clear, logical CV presentation, full of information; confident interview skills, proactive, flexible handling of situations help students "score" absolutely with employers. Many businesses commented that there are few schools that "own" a second-year student class with rich experience and practical skills like Dai Nam University.

Second-year students boldly apply for positions with incomes up to 20 million VND/month.

Mr. Cao Xuan Hong - Executive Director of Trust Nation Trading Company shared: "I was really surprised by the confident and proactive demeanor of Dai Nam University students. They answered right to the point and had many impressive questions for the recruiter. Their CVs were clear and professional, not inferior to those with experience."

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Vu - Representative of Finme Insurance Technology JSC commented: "One thing that I highly appreciate about Dai Nam University students is their seriousness towards the company and the position they are applying for. They do not answer in a formulaic way, but confidently express their own opinions and wishes. I do not think that they are just second-year students. Really impressive".

Business representatives are impressed with students' CVs.

A representative of MindX Technology School also expressed: “We have interviewed and recruited many students. However, no group of students has impressed us as much as the students of Dai Nam University. Your CVs are very logical, scientific, and have a strong personal touch, without using online CV templates. That is a plus point for you.”

Nguyen Xuan Thang - a student of IT class 15.01 is confident that he will get a job as a Lecturer - Programming Assistant at MindX Technology School after the Festival.

“I feel lucky to be able to study in a modern, up-to-date environment like Dai Nam University. The teachers' dedicated guidance and instruction have helped me learn how to create an impressive CV, master interview skills, and choose appropriate clothing. This is a great foundation for us to confidently step on our future career path,” the 10X shared.

K15 DNU students received a "shower" of compliments from businesses.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Training and Soft Skills Development said: “Writing CVs and answering interviews is not only a form of exam but also an opportunity for students to connect, express themselves with businesses, and find a suitable job for themselves. We are happy that nearly 1,000 of our students were highly appreciated and recruited by businesses right at the Job Fair. This shows that Dai Nam University is on the right track in training and Dai Nam 2nd year students are completely capable of “defeating” their competitors who are studying in their 3rd and 4th year”.

DNU is determined not to be "failed" due to lack of skills.

The CV writing and interview exams were successfully conducted. 100% of students achieved good results, qualified to complete the course and have suitable jobs with attractive income. The soft skills learned in the classroom are certainly a solid stepping stone for Dai Nam University students to confidently enter the labor market, affirming their Intelligence - Talent - Strength in domestic and foreign enterprises.
