Semi-finals: Where talent and courage are affirmed

After intensive training and support from an experienced mentor team, the 16 best teams were selected to enter the Semi-finals.

On May 17, 2024, the DBIC 2024 Semi-Finals took place successfully with the breakthrough performances of the 16 best teams. The event marked an important milestone in the journey to conquer the championship title of the competing teams, while affirming the talent, creativity and dedication of the student entrepreneurs.

Attending the program on behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council, Mr. Do Anh Tai - Vice Principal of the University, Mr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty of E-commerce & Technology, teachers who are leaders and managers, representatives of departments, centers, faculties/training institutes in the whole school.

On the side of the co-organizers, there was the presence of Mr. Nguyen Quan - Founder of Eco Academy, Mr. Thanh Vu - Co-Founder of Eco Academy.

On the side of the Jury, there was the presence of Mr. Hoang Trung Dung - Chairman of Kingsman Academy, Mr. Nguyen Doan Ky - Founder of 3 Do Agency, Mr. Le Quynh Son - General Director of Atosa Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Viet Duc - CEO of Sale Mall Joint Stock Company, Mr. Dang Duc Hiep - Brand Director of Kcavina Group.

The program was also honored to welcome representatives of Sponsors, Business Partners and Mentors who have accompanied the teams throughout the journey of DBIC 2024. And indispensable was the participation of the TOP 16 best teams, Teachers and students from Universities participating in the competition.

In his opening speech, Mr. Do Anh Tai - Vice Principal of the School happily welcomed businesses, experts and teachers as well as 16 excellent teams to attend the DBIC Semi-final event. He affirmed that this competition is an opportunity to connect and compete to help students practice their attitudes, knowledge and skills to meet future career requirements.

Representative of the Jury - Mr. Hoang Trung Dung - Chairman of Kingsman Academy congratulated Dai Nam University and Eco Academy for organizing a very meaningful competition, helping students promote their strengths and potential to prove their abilities. More importantly, the Jury will find good faces and projects to introduce to businesses, helping the projects to be applied in practice. He also emphasized that he will continue to accompany Dai Nam University, businesses and students to promote the development of Vietnam's digital economy.

Excitement, tension, and excitement were the emotions that our TOP 16 teams experienced in the Semi-final round. Although the pitching time was quite long, the teams' spirit did not cool down at all, they were still determined to perform excellently in front of the Board of Judges.

TOP 16 teams presented their projects and answered questions from the judges.

The DBIC 2024 Semi-Finals took place with an extremely intense competition between the TOP 16 teams from many different universities. The teams presented their business ideas and answered difficult questions from the Jury. The Jury highly appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of the contestants, and gave useful advice to help the teams complete their projects.

TOP 5 projects entered the DBIC 2024 Final round

The TOP 5 projects that made it to the Final Round revolve around the fields of Digital Marketing, E-commerce, and digital business ideas. These are all creative ideas with high applicability in real life: ECOG - Green Technology, BORDER DREAM, TESHQUEST, MECY, EBIZ. Of which, 02 projects come from students of the Faculty of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Dai Nam University.

ECOG - GREEN TECHNOLOGY Team entered the Top 5 to enter the DBIC 2024 Finals

The first project to make it into the Top 5 in the final round is the EcoG project - Green Technology, an idea of a group of students from Thuy Loi University, providing a solution to connect the recycling ecosystem with an automatic waste collection and classification system, contributing to environmental protection.

BORDER DREAM team entered the Top 5 to enter the DBIC 2024 Finals

The Border Dream Project was built by students from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture - Dai Nam University to develop volunteer tourism combined with cultural experiences in the northern border provinces, contributing to promoting and developing local products.

Team TESHQUEST entered the Top 5 to enter the DBIC 2024 Finals

Proposing a virtual university model to help high school students orient their careers and experience the university learning environment is a project from a group of students from the Academy of Policy and Development.

MECY Team entered the Top 5 to enter the DBIC 2024 Finals

Applying the B2C model, bringing products directly to consumers, developing a dynamic fashion brand of pajamas from recycled materials, with a variety of colors and designs, suitable for needs and fashion tastes is the idea called My Style by the MECY group - from students of the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Economics - Dai Nam University and students of Thuy Loi University.

EBIZ Team Enters Top 5 of DBIC 2024 Finals

Growing Ngoc Linh ginseng in Mu Cang Chai is a project from the eBiz team - students of the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Economics - Dai Nam University and students of Thang Long University. Committed to providing 100% pure Ngoc Linh ginseng, grown according to strict organic processes, ensuring clear origin, carefully selected, meeting the highest quality standards. In addition, the project hopes to bring the opportunity to experience tourism in the ginseng growing area, learn about the process of growing and harvesting Ngoc Linh ginseng, enjoy the fresh, pure air of Mu Cang Chai land.
