Scholarship policy for talented people of Dai Nam University in 2023

The Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University has just signed a Decision to grant Talent Encouragement scholarships to full-time university students of the 17th course for the 2022-2023 school year. Accordingly, in 2023, the University will allocate 50 billion VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to new students of K17.

The Talent Encouragement Scholarship was approved by Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University since 2017. This is to encourage and motivate students with good achievements in the university entrance exam; at the same time, it creates conditions for excellent students with difficult circumstances to have the opportunity to study at university. Aiming to train a generation of elite students, good at knowledge and solid in skills.

After 6 years of implementation, Dai Nam University has awarded scholarships worth more than 30 billion VND to students with high entrance scores.

The Talent Encouragement Scholarship worth 100% and 50% of the first semester tuition fee of Dai Nam University has great attraction for candidates in every university admission season.

Specifically:

Students who are admitted and meet the school's entrance criteria for each academic year will receive a 100% Talent Encouragement Scholarship and 50% tuition fee for the first semester of the first year. From the second semester onwards, students will be considered for a study encouragement scholarship or a high-quality class scholarship according to the school's annual scholarship fund.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will award 50 billion VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to new students of K17.

Specifically:

1. Granting a Talent Encouragement Scholarship worth 100% of the first semester tuition fee of the first year to new students admitted by all admission methods on the admission software of the Ministry of Education and Training, completing enrollment when having a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the school's admission combination (excluding regional and subject priority points), specifically:

- The majors of Medicine, Chinese Language and Culture, Korean Language and Culture scored from 28 points.

- Pharmacy major achieved from 27 points.

- Multimedia communication, Public relations scored from 26 points.

- Other training majors score from 24 points.

2. Granting a Talent Encouragement Scholarship worth 50% of the first semester tuition fee of the first year to new students admitted by all admission methods on the software of the Ministry of Education and Training, completing enrollment when having a total score of 03 high school graduation exam subjects according to the school's admission combination (excluding regional and subject priority points). Specifically:

- The majors of Medicine, Korean Language and Culture, and Chinese Language and Culture scored 27 points.

- Pharmacy scored 26 points.

- Multimedia Communication, Public Relations 25 points.

- Other training majors achieved 23 points.

Conditions for students to be considered and time to receive the Scholarship

- Students complete the admission application and pay the full tuition fee for the first semester as prescribed within 30 days from the date of admission.

- Time to receive the Scholarship within 20 days from the end of semester I.

4 methods of admission to Dai Nam University in 2023

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will enroll full-time undergraduate students in 24 majors in 4 ways.

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Candidates whose exam results meet the quality assurance threshold prescribed by the School after receiving the 2023 high school graduation exam results, except for the Health Sector, as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 3 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

- Medical and Pharmaceutical majors must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 24 points.

- Nursing major must have a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 19.5 points.

- Other majors: total score of 3 subjects according to admission combination ≥ 18 points.

Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent, candidates must meet one of the regulations on direct admission specified in Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations of Dai Nam University.

Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent as above, candidates applying for admission must meet the mandatory condition of graduating from high school abroad or in Vietnam. Based on the candidate's high school study results, the Principal of Dai Nam University will consider and decide on admission.
