Currently, the Faculty of Tourism has built and trained the Tourism and Travel Services Management major with 02 main majors: Travel Management, Hotel Management.

The Tourism Management major equips students with professional skills in 4 areas: Tourism Accommodation, Travel Services, Tourist Transportation Services, and Other Tourism Services. Students pursuing this major have a wide range of employment opportunities upon graduation, with a high chance of becoming managers in the tourism industry.

The Hotel Management major equips students with the ability to manage hotel rooms, beverages, reception; Control costs; Marketing accommodation services; Managing conference/seminar services; Managing revenue; Managing entertainment services; Hotel interior design; Organizing events; Managing banquets; Marketing conferences/seminars; Restaurant management...

Theoretical courses in the undergraduate training program equip students with a system of basic industry knowledge, a system of soft skills, logical thinking, and foreign languages.

Courses in Hospitality Services & Management: Students study theory and practice at the faculty's practice hotel and are sent to intern at hotels affiliated with the faculty that meet FB skills.

Reception Management & Operations courses: Students study theory and practice at the faculty's practice hotel and are sent to intern at hotels affiliated with the faculty that meet FO capacity.

Tour Guide Courses: Training students to meet Competency standards (Attitude - Knowledge - Skills) for the position of Tour Guide.

Tour Operation Courses: Students are the ones who directly design programs, contact service providers, organize guides, and logistics in tour internship programs.

With a training method that prioritizes practical experience at the school's modern facilities (tour companies and hotels), students majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Dai Nam University will have access and the opportunity to directly learn both theory and practice to memorize professional knowledge and skills.

In addition to studying theory in the classroom, DNU Tourism and Travel Services Management students continuously experience activities such as: extracurricular activities; visiting famous tourist attractions; visiting reputable travel companies; practicing individual and group exercises related to tour guide, tour operation or tourist route management... In particular, students who do internships at the school's affiliated units are trained and paid as official employees. Students who complete their internships excellently will be recruited and work at travel companies and corporations.

Owning 3 standard practice hotels: 3 stars, 4 stars and 5 stars in Hanoi, Bac Ninh and Da Nang; associated with a series of prestigious units such as Intercontinental Landmark 72 Hotel, Saigon Ha Long Hotel, Ha Long Plaza, Flamingo Resort Vinh Phuc, Cat Ba, CatBa Island Resort & Spa... the Faculty of Tourism of Dai Nam University is the only facility currently meeting all the requirements for on-site facilities for training in Hotel Management.

In addition, the Faculty of Tourism is also very responsive in sending students to practice in important departments in hotels right from the first year to apply theory to practice.

Admission methods for Tourism and Travel Services Management at Dai Nam University

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will enroll 200 full-time undergraduate students in Tourism and Travel Management according to 3 admission methods.

Specifically:

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 3 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration. Total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination ≥ 18 points.
