Starting a business from the lecture hall: The journey of overcoming oneself of a 10X student of the Faculty of Business Administration

When it comes to startups, many people think of successful businessmen after graduating and having a lot of experience. However, there is an interesting fact that many students, while still in school, dare to dream, dare to act and reap success. Le Van Huy - a student of Business Administration class 14.01 at Dai Nam University (DNU) is a typical example.
Le Van Huy is the owner of a food store at 12 Xom Street, Phu Lam, Ha Dong, Hanoi.
Ever since he was in college, Le Van Huy has nurtured his passion for business. Realizing the potential of the fried chicken market – a dish loved by young people, Huy decided to turn his idea into action.
10X started researching the market, planning strategies... Choosing a business location near Dai Nam University, he decided to "hit" the potential customer group - students.
The communication strategy is also well-built, making the most of the power of social networks for promotion. Along with the "handshake" cooperation with famous suppliers, Le Huy is confident of "reaching" the target of achieving revenue of 200 million VND within 06 months.
However, running a store while still a student required Le Huy to face many difficulties, from financial management, maintaining product quality to fierce competition from big brands.
However, by flexibly applying the practical knowledge learned at Dai Nam University, Huy quickly adjusted his strategy, optimized his financial management process and continuously improved service quality. Building creative promotional programs and optimizing customer experience helped the store quickly attract a stable number of customers.
The training program promotes practice - reality; many opportunities to experience at businesses of the Faculty of Business Administration help students accumulate experience and have a clear future orientation.
After a short time, the store's revenue not only met but also exceeded initial expectations. Not only that, Huy's store also created opportunities for many Dai Nam University students to gain practical experience and increase their income.
These positive results have motivated Huy to expand his business, experiment with new dishes and organize exciting events for customers.
“My upcoming plan is to open a new facility in Hanoi. My long-term goal is to open 10 more stores before I turn 30,” Huy shared proudly.
Sharing with young people who are thinking about starting a business, Le Huy advised: Starting a business is a challenging journey but also brings many interesting and valuable experiences. Knowledge, skills, and a steadfast spirit are the things you need to prepare. Do not hesitate to seek support from friends, family or predecessors. Every stumble is an opportunity to learn and grow.
“Be assured to pursue your passion, because you always have Dai Nam University as a strong backer. The school not only equips students with knowledge but also creates conditions for them to apply it in practice. With the dedicated support from teachers, you can confidently face all challenges in your entrepreneurial journey.”
Le Van Huy's entrepreneurial journey is a clear proof that youth is not a barrier to success, but the golden period to dare to dream and dare to do. Entrepreneurship is not a path of roses, but every difficulty is a valuable lesson. With the support from the professional learning environment and dedicated teachers of Dai Nam University, students can confidently step out into the world, carrying with them knowledge and passion to conquer their dreams.
