Taiwan Ministry of Education establishes international talent recruitment office at Dai Nam University

Enter On February 20, 2024, the Taiwan Ministry of Education's International Talent Recruitment Office in Vietnam was officially opened at Dai Nam University. The office was established with the aim of becoming a bridge to provide scholarships for Vietnamese students to study abroad and stay and work long-term in Taiwan in the international talent training program in the fields of: Industry, Finance, Semiconductor Technology.

The event marked an important turning point in the educational cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Taiwan. This is also the foundation for DNU to strongly implement international training cooperation programs with Taiwanese universities, especially in the field of semiconductor technology.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the inauguration of the Taiwan Ministry of Education's International Talent Recruitment Office in Vietnam located at Dai Nam University was held elaborately and solemnly.

Attending the ceremony, on the Taiwanese side were leaders of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam; Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Minghsin University of Science and Technology, Kunshan University of Science and Technology, and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam - Hanoi Branch.

On the side of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, there was the presence of Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe - Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training.

On behalf of the other schools, the ceremony had the presence of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc - Chairman of the Council of the University of Technology - VNU.

On behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the University Council; Board of Directors and leaders of Faculties, Departments, Offices, Institutes, Centers and student representatives.

The official and only representative office in the North of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan

Mr. Liu Meng-chi - Vice Minister of Education of Taiwan sent a congratulatory video and said: The International Talent Recruitment Office (INTACT Campus) is an important part of the International Industrial Talent Education (INTENSE) program implemented by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan and the National Development Council.

Mr. Lam Dich Dan - Ambassador of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam added: The office has the function of connecting training facilities, training programs, scholarship policies, training programs - exchanging lecturers and students in the industrial field, encouraging Vietnamese students to come to Taiwan to study and stay to work.

Ambassador Lam Dich Dan: All training institutions that need to send students to Taiwan to study and work must go through the official representative office located at Dai Nam University.

Mr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University believes that the representative office of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan located at Dai Nam University with the direct support and cooperation of Longhua University of Science and Technology; Minh Tan University of Science and Technology, Kunshan University of Science and Technology as well as other universities and technology enterprises of Taiwan will effectively build and implement training programs, attracting many excellent students from Vietnam and abroad to study, research, and work long-term in Taiwan...

Mr. Pham Van Hong: “Dai Nam University is proud to be the only university in the North that the Ministry of Education of Taiwan has chosen to establish a representative office. This is the basis for the University to become a place to connect and promote international cooperation activities.”

Dai Nam University is proactive and takes the lead in foreign cooperation to train high-quality human resources.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe expressed his thanks to the leaders of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan and congratulated Dai Nam University on being trusted by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan to choose to set up a representative office.

Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe congratulated and highly appreciated the proactiveness and leadership in foreign cooperation to train high-quality human resources of Dai Nam University.

“The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training welcomes Dai Nam University for being proactive and taking the lead in cooperating with foreign partners to implement high-quality human resource training programs for the semiconductor industry in particular and other industries…”, said Dr. Pham Nhu Nghe.

The representative office of the Ministry of Education and Training of Taiwan in Vietnam is located at Room 518, Central Building, Dai Nam University.
