The first time in history witnesses a university sponsoring Vietnamese sports to participate in an international tournament

On April 11, at the Sponsor announcement Ceremony and introduction of the VTVCab Asian Women's Cup Volleyball Championship 2023, Dai Nam University was honored to be announced as the main sponsor for the Women's National volleyball team participating in Asian Women's Volleyball Club Championship 2023, which takes place at Vinh Phuc Gymnasium from April 25 to May 2, 2023. This is the first time in history that a university sponsors Vietnamese sports to participate in an international tournament.

Attending the Announcement Ceremony, on the side of the Vietnam Sports Administration, there was Mr. Tran Duc Phan - Deputy Director of Vietnam Sports Administration, Permanent Vice Chairman of Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

On the side of sponsors, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University, representative of the main sponsor for the tournament; Mr. Nguyen Van Ninh - Vice General Director of VTVCab - the comprehensive partner of Vietnam Volleyball Federation and Cup Sponsor.

On the side of the host, there was Mr. Bui Hong Do - Director of Vinh Phuc Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On the side of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, there was the presence of Mr. Le Dac Lam - Vice President of Vietnam Volleyball Federation; Mr. Tran Thanh Tung -  Deputy General Secretary of Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - President of Dai Nam University shared about activities associated with the Women's National volleyball team

Earning the credibility of the Asian Volleyball Federation, from April 25 to May 2, 2023, Vietnam Volleyball Federation will host the 2023 VTVCab Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship at Vinh Yen Gymnasium, Vinh Phuc Province.

The tournament welcomes the participation of 09 national championship teams from different continents, including: China, Japan, Taiwan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Hong Kong, Mongolia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The representative of Vietnam participating in the 2023 VTVCab Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship is the Sport Center 1 team. The main participants are members of Vietnam Women's National volleyball team and Sport Center 1 becomes a new Vietnamese Club - the strongest Women's Volleyball Club in Vietnam at present.

This is a chance for the team to compete against talented Clubs in Asia ahead of the 32nd SEA Games held in May in Cambodia.

Sharing about the policy of accompanying the National Women's Volleyball Team to participate in the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong, President of DNU stated that: “As the main sponsor, Dai Nam University wishes to accompany Vietnamese sports, spreading Vietnamese volleyball across borders.
