On the afternoon of December 17th, the Faculty of Architecture and Construction - Dai Nam University (DNU) organized the KXD CONNECT DAY 2025 program - a "real handshake" between the university, businesses, and students, bringing practical lessons from construction sites closer to the university lecture halls. In this program, the lecture hall doesn't offer one-way theoretical discussions; the construction site becomes the classroom, and businesses partner with students from their time at university.

Beyond being a space for meetings and dialogue among stakeholders within the training ecosystem, the program also made its mark with the signing of business cooperation agreements and the awarding of scholarships to first-year students, clearly demonstrating the university's practical training orientation and its long-term commitment to supporting its learners.

Training aligned with business needs – the foundation for graduates to be highly sought after.

At KXD CONNECT DAY 2025, the Faculty of Architecture and Construction emphasized the role of businesses as a crucial link in the training process. The learning outcomes for students are built upon the recruitment standards of businesses in the architecture and construction sector, ensuring that students not only possess strong professional knowledge but are also ready to meet the practical demands of the labor market immediately after graduation.

Representatives from many reputable businesses in the industry participated in the program, exchanging and discussing training strategies that connect the classroom with the construction site, thereby contributing to improving the quality of human resources in the context of the rapidly developing construction industry.

Schools and businesses work together to guide students' career paths.

Speaking at the program, Professor Dr. Dao Van Dong – Vice Rector of Dai Nam University emphasized: “As the demand for infrastructure and construction continues to grow, the problem of high-quality human resources can only be solved through genuine cooperation between universities and businesses. Close cooperation between universities and businesses not only helps businesses proactively build a successor workforce, but also helps students clearly define their career paths from the moment they are in university.”

Representing the company, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Tai - Acting CEO of Hoa Binh Construction Corporation (HBC) affirmed: "The company is ready to bring experts into the classroom, accept student interns, and create a real environment for students to hone their professional work ethic and mindset. "

Within the framework of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang - Rector of Dai Nam University and Mr. Nguyen Khanh Tai signed a cooperation agreement, marking a new step in the close relationship between the university and businesses.

Also at the event, Mr. Vu Hoang Phuong - Deputy General Director of MBLand Real Estate Company - emphasized the role of attitude and professional qualities: “Today's students are being invested in by three important investors: family, school, and businesses. Take advantage of this opportunity to break through, improve yourself, and be determined to graduate with a good job and become responsible citizens of society.”

54 scholarships awarded - a commitment to "Dedicated service to learners".

With its educational philosophy of "Dedicated to the learner," within the framework of KXD CONNECT DAY 2025, the Faculty of Architecture and Construction collaborated with businesses to award 54 scholarships under the "Nurturing Future Engineers and Architects" program to first-year students.

The scholarships were personally presented to the students by representatives of the businesses.

Scholarships that waive 50% of tuition fees not only provide financial support but also recognize the academic efforts, ambition, and progressive spirit of new students. At the same time, the scholarship fund affirms the role of businesses in investing in knowledge and human resources – the foundation for the sustainable development of the construction industry.

Sharing his thoughts at the ceremony, student Ngo Duc Phu – Class XD1901 – emotionally stated: “This scholarship not only helps me purchase study materials and tools but also alleviates some of the burden on my family. More importantly, it motivates us to confidently set goals, continuously strive, and develop ourselves on the path we have chosen.”

Through KXD CONNECT DAY 2025, Dai Nam University continues to affirm its orientation of training closely linked to practice, focusing on business partnerships and student support. From the classroom to the construction site, from learning to career, the collaboration between the university and businesses not only opens up many opportunities for students today but also contributes to building a team of capable, professional engineers and architects ready for integration in the future.

From the lecture hall to the construction site is no longer just a slogan. It's the path that Dai Nam University is paving – through real collaborations, real work, and real opportunities for students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction.
