After intense and fierce matches and a spectacular victory in the preliminary round, the Dai Nam University futsal team is proud to be one of two representatives of the capital's students participating in the Futsal Final Round - National Student Sports Tournament 2023 (VUG 9).

The VUG 9 National Futsal Finals gathered the 8 strongest teams representing 6 regions: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Central region, and Ho Chi Minh City.

In the national quarterfinals, with a 5-4 penalty shootout victory over the 2018 champion - Van Hien University, Dai Nam University excellently won the right to enter the semi-finals.

In the National Semi-Final against Van Lang University, Dai Nam University once again proved its mettle by turning the tables on its opponents. The 5-4 victory on penalties brought Dai Nam to the National Final for the first time in history.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Chairman of the School Council; Mr. Pham Van Hong - Principal and Mr. Dinh Quang Hung - Vice Principal.

Besides praising the collective achievements of the futsal team, he also praised the efforts of the Youth Union in always closely following student activities and movements, creating opportunities for students to continuously practice, improve and develop themselves in major arenas.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa: The school will continue to work closely with the Youth Union to develop cultural, sports and artistic activities for students.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Board shared that the goal of the School is to train and nurture generations of intellectuals with sufficient virtues - intelligence - physique - beauty. At the meeting, the school leaders presented a Certificate of Merit and a cash prize of 70 million VND to the Team.
