What events await DNUERS after the New Year holiday?

What can you learn if you only get knowledge in the classroom? What can you learn if you just confine yourself within four walls with stacks of books and thick glasses? Not to mention what will you lose if you only play games, sleep and watch romantic movies? At Dai Nam University, you are not allowed to be "boring" and "deprived" like that. There will be all kinds of activities to exploit your hidden potential, leading you to a world where: knowledge goes hand in hand with experience and skills; the soul must go hand in hand with a healthy body...

1. The Cake of Love – Back to the Old Tet

Continuing the 12-year journey of "sowing happiness, giving love", welcoming the Year of the Dragon 2024, Dai Nam University continues to organize the program "The cake of love" with the theme "Returning to the old Tet". This is an opportunity for staff, lecturers and students of the whole school to show the spirit of mutual love, helping each other, sharing with the less fortunate in society.

The re-enactment of the old Tet space is also a reminder for teachers and students of Dai Nam University about the beauty of traditional culture. From there, it fosters love, national pride; awareness of preserving and protecting according to the message "Culture is national identity, as long as culture exists, the nation exists".

The charity cake - the charity program that makes the brand of Dai Nam University.

Participating in the "Love Cake" program this year, students have the opportunity to experience the following activities: Chung cake wrapping contest; giving Chung cakes to the less fortunate; decorating the rural market space; recreating the ancient Tet space of the 3 regions of North - Central - South; admiring the "peak" performance of Vietnamese traditional costumes; checking in with ancient Vietnamese costumes; trying out the business skills of the rural Tet market; asking for calligraphy from the calligrapher; enjoying folk games (throwing con, o an quan, jumping rope, jumping bamboo pole...); tug of war; "immersing" themselves in the unique and attractive art performances from the school's clubs,...

The program promises to bring many surprising, interesting and meaningful experiences to all staff, lecturers, employees and students. The program takes place from January 24-25, 2023 at Dai Nam University Square.

2. Gala Books and Action with the participation of more than 1,000 students nationwide

Realizing the importance of reading in training and developing a comprehensive human being, right from the first days of its establishment, Dai Nam University has paid special attention to building and developing a reading culture in the student community. Not only constantly updating the list of books, documents, textbooks... to best serve the learning, research and reading needs of students; the University also organizes the Book Festival program with the participation of many great speakers such as: Historian Le Van Lan, speaker Nguyen Quoc Vuong... and many large bookstores across the country.

The resounding success of the “DNU Book Festival” program helped spread the love of books to thousands of young people; at the same time, it received the attention of many organizations, book projects and actions.

DNU Book Festival was a success beyond expectations, connecting thousands of book lovers, spreading reading culture to lecturers and students across the school.

Accordingly, in 2024, Dai Nam University will host the Book and Action Gala “The Hyphen” – a community project familiar to students nationwide. Participating in the program, DNUERS will have the opportunity to connect with more than 1,000 students, teachers from high schools and universities nationwide; exchange and discuss books, spread the love of books and reading culture to everyone.

In addition, Gen Z also participated in the final round of the "Reading books to weave dreams" contest and had the opportunity to "bring home" grand prizes.

The program is expected to take place on January 21, 2023 at Dai Nam University.

3. Ha Dong District High School Sports Tournament - 1st Dai Nam University Cup Competition - DNU Sports Festival 2024

Promoting physical activities and physical training to develop comprehensively physically and mentally; creating lifelong training habits for students is the policy of Dai Nam University. Thanks to that, students not only improve their physical strength but also "reap" many medals at student tournaments. Most recently, the runner-up position at VUG Futsal Championship 2023 (VUG9) of Dai Nam University Futsal team.

Dai Nam University's emotional journey ended with the runner-up position at VUG Futsal Championship 2023.

To further promote the spirit of sports training, create a healthy and useful playground for high school students and Dai Nam University students to exchange, learn, and share learning experiences and compete in sports; the school decided to organize the Ha Dong District High School Student Sports Tournament - the 1st Dai Nam University Cup - DNU Sports Festival 2024.

Dai Nam University has a lot of experience in organizing student football tournaments.

It is expected that more than 30 teams from high schools in Hanoi will participate. The tournament will finalize the number of participating teams in January 2024 and officially start competing in March 2024; promising to bring "top" and fiery matches.

4. Dai Nam Film Festival – The New Wave season 2

“Dai Nam Film Festival” is one of the most anticipated competitions and attracts a lot of attention from students of Dai Nam University. With this competition, DNU boys and girls are free to be creative and produce their own short films. Thereby, thoroughly applying theory and skills into practice; awakening and promoting all talents, creating a launching pad for the future of Dai Nam University students.

In 2024, Dai Nam Film Festival will return with a completely new look, 5 times larger in scale than in 2023. DNUERS will enjoy meaningful, high-class films from generations of Dai Nam University students.

In addition, young people have the opportunity to attend the grandiose Film Festival Awards Ceremony of Dai Nam University. The guests and students truly “lived” in the spotlight when they appeared splendidly on the red carpet and were “hunted” by a team of professional, high-class photographers; it was as if they were attending the prestigious Oscar Awards Ceremony.

The program accepts entries before March 12, 2024. The award ceremony of "Dai Nam Film Festival" season 2 is scheduled to take place on April 3, 2024 at Hall GĐ1, Dai Nam University.
