Why is the Faculty of Finance and Banking of DNU determined to organize an international scientific conference on financial technology (Fintech)?

Financial technology (also known as Fintech) is a combination of “finance” and “technology”. Fintech is not only a new trend but also a revolution in the field of banking and finance. It is not simply the use of technology to carry out financial and banking transactions, but also the optimization and improvement of traditional financial processes. Organizing the International Scientific Conference on Fintech is both a playground for students to understand and have early contact with financial technology and the goal of promoting the development of the financial technology industry (Fintech) in Vietnam.

The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Finance - Banking, Dai Nam University and the Department of Science Management in collaboration with Asia University, Taiwan, the international scientific conference "Improving the Fintech development ecosystem in Vietnam" with the participation of leading experts in the finance and technology industry.

The development of the Fintech financial technology industry has opened up great career opportunities for students majoring in Banking and Finance. Currently, many Fintech companies are looking for young talents in the industry to participate in improving the financial industry of our country. Moreover, the development of this industry brings many job opportunities for students and the opportunity to rub shoulders with professional banking and finance terminology early. This helps Dai Nam University students to be more confident and proactive before graduation.

The workshop "Improving the Fintech development ecosystem in Vietnam" aims to reach consensus on the urgency of perfecting the Fintech ecosystem in Vietnam, thereby contributing to providing effective solutions to help improve the quality and efficiency of financial services in Vietnam.

This will also be an opportunity for scientists, staff, lecturers, researchers, graduate students and students of Dai Nam University to enhance their scientific research capabilities in general and Fintech research in particular, while actively contributing to the process of building and developing Fintech training programs at the University.
