Dialogue with students of Information Technology and Construction - Architecture

Student dialogue is an annual activity, demonstrating the democracy of Dai Nam University. This is an opportunity for teachers, departments and students to exchange and share difficulties and problems related to study, life and facilities... With that purpose, the dialogue program with students has been actively promoted and carried out by the faculties in the school. On the afternoon of November 27, 2015, the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Construction and Architecture jointly organized a dialogue program with students at Phu Lam Hall.

Dai Nam University lecturers participate in the international conference ICECH 2015

On the morning of November 12, 2015, the Institute of Economics and Management of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Leipzig University (Germany) organized the International Conference “Overcoming challenges with businesses – Effective management for successful opening” (ICECH 2015). This is an annual conference for economic scientists who are teaching and researching economics and business administration at major universities.

Announcement of AP16 Vietnam International Conference

In order to implement the Scientific Research Plan for 2015-2016, Dai Nam University, Hanoi, Vietnam in cooperation with SDMIMD, Mysore, Karnataka, India and Global Business Research Journal (GBRJ) co-organized the Annual Scientific Conference in Vietnam on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences (AP16 Vietnam Conference) from August 7-9, 2016 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Accounting Faculty Workshop: Update on tax policy in 2015 and risk management in tax settlement

Innovating training methods, introducing skills subjects related to the major into the main training program, helping students develop professional skills right from when they are still in the classroom is being promoted by Dai Nam University in the 2015-2016 school year. For that purpose, many faculties in the school have continuously organized extracurricular activities and seminars to train professional skills for students. At the same time, on November 28, 2015, the Accounting - Auditing Training and Consulting Center, Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University organized a seminar "Updating tax policies in 2015 and risk management in tax settlement". Body Language – The Key Factor to Improve Effects of Teaching and Learning

Teaching and learning is an interactive communication activity between teachers and students based on a systematically organized curriculum to achieve goals to transfer spiritual values, understanding, and certain cultural values. The effectiveness and sustainability of this transfer depends on many factors such as technology, curriculum, and most importantly, the interaction between teachers and students. Therefore, there are always many studies to find innovations in teaching methods to improve the effectiveness of this interaction. Besides many proposed measures, applying Body Language (nonverbal language) in teaching is also a method that is highly appreciated in improving the quality of teaching of teachers. In the scope of this article, the author would like to discuss the importance of Body Language in teaching in general and English teaching in particular.

Business Games Course – Learning through real-life experience

To improve the quality of training, in addition to innovating teaching methods, it is essential to supplement and update the training program to suit the reality. The difference of this subject is that the program is built specifically for first-year students and the learning method will be mainly through practical business experiences.

Workshop “Students and working in banking”

Following the current industry trend, Banks are merging and screening personnel to select key personnel who are highly committed to working in the industry. So what will the future career of Banking and Finance students be like? In addition to a Bachelor's degree, what do you need to equip yourself with to ensure that you have a "ticket" to the wide-open door of Banking? "Graduating and immediately getting a suitable job at a Bank" seems very difficult, but in reality it is not completely impossible, if you are a student who knows how to focus on finding information and has the ability to seize opportunities. Understanding the worries and concerns of most students in general and especially students majoring in Banking and Finance in particular, on December 22, 2015, the Faculty of Banking and Finance, Dai Nam University coordinated with the Banking and Finance Human Resources Institute (BTCI) to organize a workshop on "Students and working in banking" for students of economic majors, at the Hall on the 1st floor, the facility.

Training Camp 3: Unity and Success

With the aim of improving the effectiveness of soft skills training for students of the 9th course, the Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University has innovated the method of training Soft Skills in the 2015-2016 school year. Instead of training all the time in class (45 periods), the Faculty of Business Administration has proposed to spend 1/3 of the training time through the experiential method in the form of a "Training Camp" on two weekends with the theme "Passion - the beginning of success". Following the success of the "Training Camp" on September 26, 27, 2015 (Phase 1) and October 3, 4 (Phase 2) for students of the Faculty of Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, Construction - Architecture, Foreign Languages, Public Relations and Communications, Law and Information Technology. On December 26 and 27, 2015, the Soft Skills Department, Faculty of Business Administration continued to organize a "Training Camp" for students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and students who had not participated in the first batch.
