Unlike previous years, the results of the 2015 national high school exam will not be announced by exam clusters but will be sent to the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment. The Ministry will announce the results of more than one million candidates.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Ga affirmed that the Ministry of Education is the only unit that manages and announces the results. Candidates have many ways to look up their national high school exam scores, such as through each candidate's personal account on the national high school exam management software system, through exam result notices, through the Ministry of Education's website and through newspapers that have registered to connect with the Ministry.

The Deputy Minister also confirmed that the results will be provided free of charge. The Ministry does not provide test score data to any service provider. Therefore, websites and call centers advertising results provided by the Ministry of Education are inaccurate.

Over the past two days, although the exam scores have not been released, the national high school exam score lookup website thi.moet.gov.vn and the Ministry of Education and Training's website moet.gov.vn have both been paralyzed. Many candidates and exam clusters have expressed their frustration at the Ministry of Education's monopoly on announcing exam scores, while the technical infrastructure is not guaranteed.

Explaining this, Deputy Minister Ga said that the Ministry decided to directly manage the raw database to ensure absolute safety and security on the system, no one is allowed to edit it and there is only one single point of contact for enrollment and graduation consideration.

However , the Ministry's leaders also had to admit that "to ensure smooth access 24/7, or 24/3 (only the first 3 days when candidates access a lot), the Ministry is not sure, but there will be algorithms for each package to ensure candidates can look up information conveniently".
