5 important information for admission in 2016

In 2016, the admission regulations have some important new points that students need to pay attention to and adjust to avoid losing their opportunities when applying.
1. Changes in admission priority policy
To tighten the priority regime and avoid cases of changing household registration to get extra points, the Ministry of Education decided to change the admission regulations for subject 01. Accordingly, candidates in area 1 must be ethnic minorities with permanent residence (during high school or college) for more than 18 months in the area.
Candidates who continuously study and graduate from high school in a region will enjoy priority admission according to that region. If during the 3 years of high school (or intermediate school time) they transfer schools, the region where they study longer will enjoy priority admission according to that region. If each year they study at a school in regions with different priority levels or half of their time studying at this school and half of their time studying at another school, they will enjoy priority admission according to that region when they graduate. This regulation applies to all candidates, including candidates who graduated before the year of the entrance exam.
2. Admission based on exam result code. Only submit original when admitted.
In 2016, students will only be given 1 certificate of exam results and a code for admission .
When applying for admission , students only need to fill in the exam result code without having to submit the original as every year. When admitted, students will submit the original exam result certificate to the school for admission .
In case a candidate passes the exam but does not submit the original certificate of exam results, the candidate has the right to continue to be considered for admission in the following rounds.
3. For Universities - The score for the 2nd round of admission does not have to be higher than the score for the 1st round.
In 2016, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulated that for the following admission rounds (from the second choice), the admission score may be lower than the admission score for the previous choice.
For example: University A considers NV1 as 25 points, then according to the 2016 regulations, when considering NV2, the school wants to consider the candidate's required score not to be higher than 25. That is, the admission score can be lower than NV1 depending on the school's regulations.
4. NV1 can only be considered for a maximum of 2 schools.
In the first round of admission , candidates can register for admission to a maximum of 02 schools, each school with no more than 02 majors. In particular, candidates cannot change their wishes to the school or major they have registered for in this round of admission .
In the additional admission rounds, candidates can register for a maximum of 3 schools, each school with no more than 2 majors, and cannot change their wishes for the school or major they have registered for admission in each round. However, with schools that recruit by group of schools, candidates can register for many schools in the group.
Successful candidates must submit the original Certificate of Examination Results (signed by the Chairman of the Examination Council and stamped with the red seal of the school hosting the examination cluster) to the school they wish to study at within the prescribed time limit of each admission round.
5. Applying for admission based on academic records does not result in losing your first wish.
Candidates can use their National High School Exam scores to apply for their First Choice (NV1) and at the same time use their transcripts to apply for admission under the separate admission procedures of other schools. Thus, considering the transcripts will not affect the candidates' NV1./
