During the study process at the Faculty of English Language, students will be equipped with knowledge and practical English skills equivalent to level 5 in the national 6-level foreign language proficiency framework. In addition, there is knowledge and English language skills in the field of economics - trade and cultural knowledge of English-speaking countries.

A special feature of the English Language Department’s training program is that during the course of study, students will have the opportunity to study with foreign teachers, especially native teachers. This will create opportunities for students to absorb the language usage of native speakers as well as understanding of the culture of English-speaking countries through lessons in class.

Another new feature of the training program is that students will learn knowledge and skills to take the IELTS test integrated into the curriculum. This ensures that students will be familiar with the structure of the international IELTS test and the skills needed to do well on the test during their time at school. After completing these courses, students can confidently participate in IELTS proficiency tests of international organizations in Vietnam. Students should remember that the IELTS certificate is currently one of the necessary certificates that domestic and foreign agencies and businesses pay attention to when recruiting personnel.

It can be said that when you study English, you are "studying one major and doing many jobs". Every year, the English Language Department conducts statistics on the employment situation of students after graduation. According to feedback from alumni, the employment rate in the right major is approximately 100% with diverse job positions. You can take on positions such as office staff at state agencies, social organizations, production-business-service companies with foreign links; officers and employees in foreign affairs departments of the aviation, tourism, and banking industries; translators and interpreters for conferences; secretaries or assistant directors for domestic and foreign enterprises, etc.

In addition, if you study for a vocational certificate such as a pedagogical certificate or a tourism vocational certificate, you can completely become an English teacher at high schools and junior high schools, an English teacher at an English training center or a receptionist at an international hotel, an international tour guide at a travel agency. You should remember that this is just the beginning of your future career.
