• Method 1: Admission based on 2025 high school graduation exam results
• Method 2: Admission based on 12th grade high school transcripts
• Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School

6. Admission requirements

a) Method 1: Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam

  Admission score = (Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + Subject 3 score) + Preferred score (if any)

Priority points: Priority points for region and subject (according to current Admission Regulations).

Candidates :

In addition to the general conditions as prescribed, candidates applying for admission must meet the following mandatory conditions to be considered for admission under this method:

- Candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent ;

- Have a score of 6 or higher in Math or English in the admission group

up and the total admission score of 03 subjects reaches the quality assurance threshold prescribed by the School after the high school graduation exam results are available.

b) Method 2: Consider high school academic results (consider transcripts)

Consider transcripts based on the average score of grade 12 according to the subject group for admission

Admission score = (Subject 1 score + Subject 2 score + Subject 3 score)

In there:

- Subject 1 score = Average of the whole year of grade 12 subject 1

- Subject 2 score = Average of the whole year of grade 12 subject 2

- Subject 3 score = Average of the whole year of grade 12 subject 3

Note: The school does not add priority points for the transcript review method.

Candidates :

In addition to the general conditions as prescribed, candidates applying for admission must meet the following mandatory conditions to be considered for admission under this method:

- Candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent ;

- The total admission score of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results is 18 points or higher and the average score of math or English in 12th grade is 6 points or higher.

c) Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School

Candidates :

In addition to the general conditions as prescribed, candidates applying for admission must meet the following mandatory conditions to be considered for admission under this method:

- Candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent ;

- Meet one of the direct admission requirements specified in Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations of Dai Nam University .

Note:  

• The conversion of admission methods to the same starting point of 30 is carried out according to the guidance documents of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Regardless of the admission method, candidates must submit an international English certificate of IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 62, Duolingo 85 or equivalent certificates valid for 02 years from the date of application submission.
• Candidates who do not have an English certificate that meets the entry requirements can register to attend the IELTS English preparation class organized by the school according to the corresponding levels.
• Candidates with a high school diploma issued by a foreign institution are considered for admission when the diploma has been recognized by a competent authority. High school diplomas issued by foreign institutions whose programs are taught entirely in English are exempt from the English entrance certificate.
• Candidates with one of the following international certificates when participating in the following competency assessment tests (within 02 years from the test date to the application submission date) will be considered for admission to the program and do not have to submit an international English certificate:
• ACT test score of at least 20/36 (with a minimum English component score of 21).
• SAT score of 1050/1600 or higher (with reading and writing score not less than 500).

7. Tuition and fees

Tuition and fees for participating in the program are detailed below. The tuition fee of the program is the full course fee, unchanged throughout the 04 years of study.

• Application fee: 1,100,000 VND (non-refundable)
• Admission fee: 1,500,000 VND (paid upon admission and non-refundable)
• Tuition fee for the entire program: 320,000,000 VND (paid in 08 installments according to the School's announcement) when studying full-time in Vietnam.
• Graduation fee: 3,436,000 VND (equivalent to 135 USD) paid to Walsh University when
• apply for graduation
• Graduation ceremony fee: 1,650,000 VND (equivalent to 65 USD)

Note: In case students wish to transfer to Walsh University's campus in the United States, the tuition fee will follow Walsh University's international student tuition regulations in the transfer year. Students transferring from Dai Nam University will be given priority for international student scholarships according to Walsh University's scholarship policy in the transfer year.

6. Certificate of foreign language proficiency (if any);
7. Citizen identification card or identity card (notarized copy);
8. Application fee: 1,100,000 VND/application.

Attention:

• In addition to registering according to the regulations of the University, all candidates applying for admission to Dai Nam University need to register their admission wishes to the University on the Admissions Portal of the Ministry of Education and Training or the National Public Service Portal according to the general plan and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training;
• Candidates must provide complete and accurate information and supporting documents to ensure their rights;
• The school will not return applications to admitted candidates under any circumstances.

9. Time to receive application: According to the following admission periods

a) Receiving application documents: from the date of announcement of admission information.

b) Admission round for all methods according to general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

c) Additional admission round: The school will announce details after the end of the admission round.
