Celebrating the school's 13th anniversary and welcoming November 20: "Are all the security guards and janitors present and in which area are they sitting?"

That was the greeting of Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board to the security guards and janitors at the 13th Anniversary of the School's founding (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2020) and the Welcome to Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20) held on the morning of November 18 in Hanoi.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the University Council said: The 13-year journey of construction and development of Dai Nam University has gone through many difficulties and hardships. However, with the efforts and dedication of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and the trust and solidarity of the staff and lecturers, Dai Nam University has gradually overcome difficulties and challenges to survive and develop until today.

In the solemn, warm and intimate atmosphere of the celebration, Dr. Le Dac Son, on behalf of the University Management Board and the Board of Directors, expressed his sincere thanks to the cadres, lecturers and staff who have worked together with the University, enduring many “sadnesses” in both reputation and material to build Dai Nam University. The head of the University hopes to continue to receive the trust, solidarity and efforts of the staff to steer the Dai Nam University ship to a new stage of development.

On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, Dr. Le Dac Son sent his sincere gratitude and congratulations to all staff and lecturers working and teaching at Dai Nam University.

“In a person’s life, there are 5 great teachers. The first teacher is parents; the second teacher is teachers at school; the third teacher is friends and society; the fourth teacher is books and the internet; the fifth teacher is oneself. Of the 5 teachers, the greatest teacher is oneself, deciding one’s fate, success or failure, happiness or suffering, nobility or baseness… Saying this is to see that teachers play an extremely important role in a person’s life. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers from all over the world who have taught generations of DNU staff and lecturers. I would like to express my gratitude to the teachers of DNU who have, are and will continue to teach the next generations of students of the school…” Dr. Le Dac Son shared.

He added that teaching is a noble profession. Teachers are the noblest of noble people. However, each teacher who wants to be noble and be loved and respected by students must truly "be a teacher", "teach and teach" and constantly strive to improve and practice because no one is born noble. Nobility comes from the process of training and accumulation.

More touchingly, at the ceremony to celebrate the 13th anniversary of the school's founding and to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, Dr. Le Dac Son showed special affection and attention to the security and janitors - the employees who silently and quietly protect, maintain security and order, preserve the landscape and contribute to creating the culture of Dai Nam.

Just a small question "Today, are all the security guards, janitors, and cleaners here and in which area are they sitting?" and a happy nod and the words "it's good that everyone is here" made anyone who heard it feel the warmth and sincerity from the school's head for the staff.

We believe that, with all that Dai Nam University has done, is doing and will do together, the Dai Nam ship will reach further and further, becoming a trusted and prestigious destination for generations of students, parents and businesses.
