From September 26 to September 30, 2016, Dai Nam University organized a week of citizen-student activities to welcome new students of Course 10, welcoming them who have become "new citizens" of the "common home" Dai Nam, at Phu Lam Hall.
It has become a general rule that new students have their first week of school called “Citizen-Student Activity Week” to equip them with basic knowledge and understanding of the school they are studying at, the training program; the rules and regulations to have a study plan, and implement it in 4, 5 years of study at the school. Starting the morning of September 26, 2016, all K10 freshmen were present at Phu Lam Hall, Dai Nam University to open the Citizen - Student Activity Week. This is the first meaningful "introductory" week for a student when entering Dai Nam University.

New students of Course 10 attend the first week of class activities
Attending the opening ceremony were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the School, along with teachers in the Board of Directors, leaders of the School's Faculties, Departments and Offices. Especially, there was full participation of nearly 1000 new students of K10.
In the opening speech, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors introduced to the new students the history of the establishment and development of the University over the past 10 years. With the efforts and dedication of the staff, lecturers and students of all courses, Dai Nam University has overcome difficulties in the early days of its establishment, risen to affirm the University, training quality and received the trust and support of candidates, parents and society. Currently, the school has nearly 6,000 students, studying 14 training programs with many different majors. The school has also organized many 2+2 joint training programs with international universities. Dai Nam University is gradually developing, striving to fulfill the goal of "Becoming one of the Top 20 leading universities, training in many fields, many professions, providing quality human resources for society".

To help students better understand the training program, the Faculties and Departments of the School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Trong Phuc - Principal of the School shared with the new students. He also reminded the new students to try to overcome difficulties in studying and scientific research. There are many opportunities but also great challenges. Hopefully, K10 students will follow the learning tradition of Dai Nam and achieve many successes.

During the Citizenship Week, the new students of K10 were informed by Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the School about the Student Regulations; boarding and boarding regulations, especially the benefits of students when studying at Dai Nam. The representative of the Training Department introduced the plan, credit training content, tuition policy, scholarships, etc.

Activities of the Youth Union, Association, Clubs and movement activities are one of the strengths after the training method affirming the quality of Dai Nam University. Regarding this issue, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of the School's Communications Department has given close instructions and shared her enthusiasm for the new students. She hopes that, in addition to studying, new students will actively participate in the work of the Youth Union, Association, participate in Clubs and movement activities organized by the school to practice soft skills and assert themselves.
