Dai Nam student volunteers give 40 Mid-Autumn gifts to homeless people

During the Mid-Autumn Festival 2016, in addition to the annual collaboration activities of the program "Bringing music to the Hospital", the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University, together with the Volunteer Student Teams of other Universities and Colleges, carried out the program "Pink Mid-Autumn Festival 2016" at the Central Hospital and the activity of distributing moon cakes to the homeless called "Mid-Autumn Festival with full of love"
Mid-Autumn Festival is an occasion for families to reunite, children carry star lanterns around the streets, eat moon cakes, and have fun with their parents. However, there are still many children who have not enjoyed a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival, in the memories of many children there are no memories of Mid-Autumn Festival with family and friends. During the Mid-Autumn Festival 2016, in addition to the annual collaboration activities of the program "Bringing music to the Hospital", the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University and the Volunteer Student Teams of other Universities and Colleges carried out the program "Pink Mid-Autumn Festival 2016" at the Central Hospital and the activity of distributing moon cakes to the homeless called "Mid-Autumn Festival with full of love", with the desire to share and help the less fortunate, bringing the children a complete and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.

The program "Pink Mid-Autumn Festival 2016" (taking place on September 11) as well as the activities in the program "Bringing music to the hospital" during the Mid-Autumn Festival is an opportunity for SVTN in general and SVTN of Dai Nam University to express their feelings, care and sharing with the children at the National Children's Hospital, bringing them a Mid-Autumn atmosphere filled with love, warmth and children's smiles with fairy tales about Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang, so that in each child's memory when mentioning Mid-Autumn Festival, there will be joyful images with friends, sparkling with star lanterns. Besides organizing games and breaking the Mid-Autumn Festival with the children, the SVTN Team of Dai Nam gave Mid-Autumn gifts to the children.

With enthusiasm and dedication in all activities at the National Children's Hospital, the Student Volunteer Team of Dai Nam University received a certificate of merit from the Hospital.
After implementing the program “Pink Mid-Autumn Festival 2016”, members of the SVTN Dai Nam Team distributed moon cakes to homeless people in Hanoi on the night of September 13, 2016 (August 13). 40 moon cakes were delivered by SVTN members to homeless people, helping them have a real Mid-Autumn Festival.

The excitement of children when receiving gifts
“Full of love for Mid-Autumn Festival” is an annual and extremely meaningful activity of the SVTN team of Dai Nam University on the occasion of every Mid-Autumn Festival. It not only has material meaning but also has great spiritual meaning! When the life of “bread and butter” has made everyone tired, there is no time to think about a Mid-Autumn Festival, the 40 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts that the SVTN team of Dai Nam University gave to the homeless helped them remember the Mid-Autumn Festival, so that they can have a Mid-Autumn Festival full of love.
After each volunteer activity, more than anyone else, all members of the Team feel joyful and happy because their small actions are welcomed and responded to by words of encouragement, sincere thanks from the ladies and gentlemen, the cheerful and friendly smiles are the meaningful Mid-Autumn gifts for the SVTN Dai Nam Team.
