With a total value of up to 55 billion VND, the 2025 Scholarship and Financial Support Fund of Dai Nam University (DNU) is considered one of the comprehensive and attractive student support policies. 17 types of scholarships – Open opportunities for all new students

1. Talent Scholarship: 50 - 100% of full course tuition

Full-time freshmen of the 2025 class have achieved high results in Excellent Student exams and science, technology competitions or talent, culture, art, and sports competitions at the provincial/municipal level or higher.

Talent Scholarship worth up to 576 million VND with living expenses up to 720 million VND for the entire course - one of the most prestigious scholarships of Dai Nam University, for outstanding all-rounders

In particular, for the 100% tuition scholarship for the entire course, new students will receive the following additional benefits if approved by the Interview Council:

- Living expenses support of 120 million/year (total value from 360 million - 720 million, depending on training time of each major);

- Comprehensive support for living expenses (food and accommodation) for students. Number: 10 (Larger numbers will be considered by the School Board).

Specifically:

Full scholarship (100% tuition fee for the entire course) with special benefits approved by the School Council for new students who meet one of the following criteria:

- Won prizes in National Excellent Student competitions or National Science, Technology and Engineering competitions during high school and had the prize-winning subject in the admission combination for the corresponding major of Dai Nam University.

- Have a certificate of participation in international competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training or must be approved by the Scholarship Council of Dai Nam University during high school and have a prize-winning subject in the admission combination for the corresponding major of Dai Nam University.

- Candidates with a combined score of 3 subjects for admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam for the corresponding major of Dai Nam University reaching 29.0 points or higher (excluding priority points), and at the same time, their 12th grade academic performance is classified as Excellent (Good level).

Partial scholarship (50% of full course tuition) for new students who meet one of the following criteria:

- Have a certificate of participation in the National Excellent Student Exam or the National Science and Technology Competition during high school and have the participating subjects in the admission combination for the corresponding major of Dai Nam University.

- Won prizes in the Excellent Student Competition or Provincial/City Olympic Competition or Provincial/City Science and Technology Competition during high school and had the prize-winning subject included in the admission combination for the corresponding major of Dai Nam University.

- Won prizes in talent, cultural, artistic, and sports competitions at provincial/municipal level or higher during high school and have certificates/medals/merit certificates issued by competent authorities.

2. Education Scholarship: 15% of full course tuition

New full-time students of the 2025 class are children, siblings of officials, teachers, and employees working at the Departments of Education and Training, Offices of Education and Training, High Schools, Middle Schools, and Primary Schools nationwide (except for new students majoring in Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing) who have signed labor contracts and paid social insurance for 6 months or more.

3. Medical Scholarship: 20 - 30 million VND

New full-time students of the 2025 class admitted to the Health sector (including the following majors: Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing) are children, siblings of officials and employees working at the Ministry of Health, Department of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Stations, Medical Centers, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, Drug Stores nationwide who have signed labor contracts and paid social insurance for 06 months or more.

Specifically:

- Scholarship of 30,000,000 VND: For new students who are children or siblings of officials and employees in charge of professional matters working at the Ministry of Health, Department of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Stations, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, Drug Stores nationwide who are admitted and enrolled in the Medical major.

- Scholarship of 20,000,000 VND: For new students who are children or siblings of officials and employees in charge of professional matters working at the Ministry of Health, Department of Health, Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Stations, Vaccination Centers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing & Distribution Companies, Pharmacies, Drug Stores nationwide who are admitted and enrolled in Pharmacy or Nursing.

4. Military - Police Scholarship: 15% of full course tuition

New full-time students of the 2025 class have completed their military service, police service, or are children or siblings of officers and soldiers serving in the Vietnam People's Public Security or the Vietnam People's Army.

5. Lucky Student Scholarship: Benefits of participating in a lucky draw to win valuable prizes at the Opening Ceremony & Welcome New Students 2025

New students have registered their first choice and been admitted to Dai Nam University on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Software, enrolled on time and did not change their major in the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year.

6. Star Scholarship: 50% of full course tuition

The new full-time students of the class of 2025 are those with development potential or are influential in their fields of activity.

Specifically:

- Participate in professional art and entertainment projects and win awards or be nominated in this field; win First, Second, Third prizes in talent and beauty search programs at provincial/municipal level or higher.

- Be an actor, model, singer, influencer who has made positive contributions to society, created positive influence and inspiration on social media platforms, participated in art competitions or signed a contract with an entertainment company or has an award recognized by a reputable art organization.

7. Gratitude Scholarship: 15% of full course tuition

New full-time students of the 2025 class are biological children or grandchildren whose father, mother, paternal or maternal grandparents are martyrs or war invalids at levels 1/4, 2/4 and 3/4.

8. Health Science Scholarship: 20% of tuition fee for semester 1, academic year 2025 - 2026

The new full-time students of the 2025 class admitted to the Medicine and Pharmacy majors are students with excellent academic performance throughout their high school years (Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12).

9. Technology Leader Scholarship: 20% of tuition fee for semester 1, academic year 2025 - 2026

New full-time students of the 2025 class admitted to the majors of Information Technology, Computer Science, and Information Systems must have an average score of 8.5 or higher in the 12th grade subject of Information Technology.

10. English Talent Scholarship: 20% of tuition fee for semester 1, school year 2025 - 2026

New full-time students of the 2025 class admitted to the English Language major must have an international English certificate equivalent to B2 or higher or an average score of 8.0 or higher in grade 12 English.

International certificates equivalent to B2 include: VEPT (59-66), TOEIC 4 skills including Listening & Reading (600) and Speaking & Writing (240), IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 70, Aptis B2.

Note: Certificates such as IELTS Indicator, VEPT online test at home, TOEFL iBT Home Edition will not be considered and recognized.

11. Japanese Talent Scholarship: 2 - 10 million VND

New regular students of the 2025 class admitted to the Japanese Language major have JLPT certificates (N5, N4, N3, N2, N1).

Specifically:

- Have JLPT N1 certificate: Scholarship 10,000,000 VND

- Have JLPT N2 certificate: Scholarship 7,000,000 VND

- Have JLPT N3 certificate: Scholarship 5,000,000 VND

- Have JLPT N4 certificate: Scholarship 4,000,000 VND

- Have JLPT N5 certificate: Scholarship 2,000,000 VND

12. Business Scholarship: 50% of tuition fee for semester 1, school year 2025 - 2026

Applicable to the 50 students who complete the earliest admission procedures for the Financial Technology major; the 50 students who complete the earliest admission procedures for the Japanese Language major and the 60 students who complete the earliest admission procedures for the Faculty of Economics and Construction Management (Architecture, Construction Engineering, Construction Economics; 20 students for each major). In case students transfer from other majors (not on the list of majors receiving scholarships) to majors receiving scholarships after admission, the scholarship policy will not apply. Students who transfer from majors receiving scholarships to other majors (not on the list of majors receiving scholarships) will not receive scholarships.

13. Future Financier Scholarship: 10 million VND

The new full-time students of the 2025 class admitted to the Finance - Banking major are children, siblings of officers and employees working at banks, securities companies, insurance companies, financial companies, etc.

14. Relay Scholarship: 20% of full course tuition

New full-time students of the 2025 class with especially difficult circumstances belonging to one of the following categories:

- Orphaned and belonging to a poor or near-poor household according to Decree 07/2021/ND-CP.

- Be classified as disabled according to Decree 28/2012/ND-CP with a Certificate of Disability and assessment issued by a competent authority.

- Ethnic minorities according to Decision 1227/QD-TTg dated July 14, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the list of ethnic groups facing many difficulties, having specific difficulties in the period 2021 - 2025 and being poor or near-poor households according to Decree 07/2021/ND-CP.

15. Merit Scholarship: 50% - 100% tuition fee for semester 1, school year 2025 - 2026

New full-time students of the 2025 course admitted on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Software with high university admission scores; enrolling on time as prescribed and not changing majors during their studies will be considered for scholarships when they have a total score of 03 subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the school's admission combination (not including regional and subject priority points), specifically:

16. Dai Nam Scholarship: 10 - 30% of full course tuition

New full-time students of the 2025 class have siblings or parents who are studying or working at Dai Nam University or the student is the spouse of a lecturer, officer or staff currently working at the school.

Specifically:

- 30% tuition scholarship for the entire course: For new students whose parents, brothers, sisters, or biological siblings are working at Dai Nam University or the student is the spouse of a lecturer, officer, or employee currently working at the school (lecturer, officer, or employee) with an official working period at the school of 01 year or more.

Note: The Dai Nam Scholarship Program will expire for those who are no longer working at the school.

- 10% tuition scholarship for the entire course: For new students whose father, mother, brother, or sister has studied or is studying at Dai Nam University.

17. Ha Dong Pride Scholarship: 10% tuition fee for semester 1, school year 2025 - 2026

New full-time students of the 2025 course must have permanent residence in Ha Dong District, Hanoi City or graduate from high schools in Ha Dong District.

Scholarship conditions for new students class of 2025

- Students eligible for the scholarship must submit the scholarship application and related documents before the admission date, complete the admission application and pay the full tuition fee for the first semester as prescribed within 30 days from the admission date.

- Scholarship policy does not apply to: Study material fees, retaken and remedial courses.

- Students must not be disciplined at the level of warning or higher and must fulfill their financial obligations according to the regulations of the School to be considered for maintaining the scholarship. The average score for considering maintaining the scholarship is only calculated based on the first study results of the first study session.

- Students who receive multiple entrance scholarships will only apply the highest scholarship level. Entrance scholarships cannot be combined.

- In addition to the entrance scholarship, students will receive additional annual scholarships from the school if eligible.
