With the aim of selecting students with good learning ability and awareness right from the beginning; encouraging students to promote their inherent knowledge, compete in studying and scientific research to achieve the best learning results; creating conditions for talent development, providing high-quality human resources for society, especially in the health care sector, in September 2017, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University signed a decision to grant Talent Encouragement scholarships and scholarships for the High-Quality Pharmacy class. Decision to grant Talent Encouragement scholarships to 35 students of the High Quality Pharmacy class.

Based on the academic results in the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year of the High-Quality Pharmacy class 12-06, the President of Dai Nam University signed a decision to grant scholarships worth 100% of tuition fees, 75% of tuition fees and 50% of tuition fees for the second semester of the 2018-2019 school year to 35 students. The total value of the scholarships is up to nearly 300 million VND.

Sharing about the scholarship program for the High-Quality Pharmacy class, Mr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the School said: “The Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the strong and key faculties of Dai Nam University. The training field is highly specialized, training human resources to care for and manage human health and life; heavy curriculum; long study time... Therefore, the School pays special attention to selecting input quality, ensuring training quality and talent development policies for the Faculty of Pharmacy in particular and the health sector in general.”

Accordingly, with the desire to select excellent students with good learning awareness right from the beginning; encourage students to promote their inherent knowledge foundation, compete with each other in studying and scientific research; train and develop talents, provide high-quality human resources for society , the School has approved the Faculty of Pharmacy to establish a high-quality class in Pharmacy and build a scholarship framework specifically for this group of students.

Based on the academic results in the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year of the High-Quality Pharmacy class 12-06, the School has granted 100% tuition scholarships for the second semester to 4 students, 75% tuition scholarships to 10 students and 50% tuition scholarships to 21 students of the class whose average academic scores meet the prescribed level. The total value of the scholarship is up to nearly 300 million VND.

“The Scholarship for Talent Promotion for the High-Quality Class of Pharmacy not only creates conditions to help students financially so that they can study with peace of mind, but also encourages and motivates them to strive and compete with each other in studying and training; after graduating, they will become pharmacists with good expertise and good professional ethics, contributing to the development of the country…”, Mr. Luong Cao Dong shared.

The total value of the high-quality scholarship for the Pharmacy class in semester II, school year 2018-2019 is up to nearly 300 million VND.

Survey in the High-Quality Pharmacy class 12-06, at the end of the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, the rate of excellent students reached 8% (4/50); Good reached 20% (10/50); Fair reached 42% (21/50); 15 students had to transfer from the class; 12 students from other classes were eligible to transfer in; 35 students continued to stay in the class.

Sharing with us, Ms. Tran Linh Cham - homeroom teacher of the High-Quality Pharmacy class 12-06 said : "Due to the high competition and elimination, each member of the Pharmacy class 12-06 has a very serious and positive learning attitude. They always try hard and compete with each other in every score to stay in the class and receive the school's scholarship. The scholarship for the High-Quality Pharmacy class has truly become a driving force to help ignite the desire to study and do scientific research in Pharmacy students..."

According to Ms. Cham, 100% of Pharmacy 12-06 students carefully prepare their lessons before class; in class, they focus on listening and have the spirit of building and developing lessons; complete assigned exercises well; have the ability to search, select, and process information well and have the desire to study at an advanced level...

Assessing the quality of Pharmacy class 12-06, Mr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal, Head of Pharmacy Faculty said: "Each student studying in the High Quality Pharmacy classes of Dai Nam University are excellent students with high entrance scores, good learning awareness and discipline. After 2 years of establishment, the High Quality Pharmacy classes 11-06 and 12-6 always have a stable number of students, in the Top, competing for excellent and good scholarships..."

Tran Thi Yen Nhi - High Quality Pharmacy class 12-06 achieved an academic achievement of 9.03 in the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, confided: "The High Quality class scholarship not only helps us not to worry about financial issues but also stimulates the emulation movement in learning, helping us clearly define our goals and constantly strive to achieve those goals. Scholarship for High Quality Class of Pharmacy – Dai Nam University:

-After the first semester of the first year, Pharmacy students with Good or Excellent academic results will be selected into the High Quality class according to the principle of taking the first semester's academic results from high to low until the minimum number of students is 30 students, maximum 50 students.

-The scholarship level of the High Quality class is calculated as follows:

+ Students with an average GPA of 7.0 -7.99 will receive a 50% tuition scholarship.

+ Students with an average GPA of 8.0 - 8.99 will receive a 75% tuition scholarship.

+ Students with an average academic score of 9.0 or higher will receive a 100% tuition scholarship.

(Note, results are only counted from the first exam).
