In the current period of economic openness and strong development, business activities of enterprises all touch on legal issues, requiring the important role of those in the legal profession to maintain stability and development. That opens up career opportunities for young people who are passionate about Economic Law when registering for university entrance exams every year.

According to information from economists: “With the increasing demand for human resources, Economic Law is being classified as one of the sectors that are “thirsty” for human resources nationwide. Specifically, according to information from the Ministry of Justice, from now until 2020, it is estimated that Vietnam’s judicial positions alone will need about 13,000 lawyers, 2,300 judges, 2,000 notaries, 3,000 bailiffs, 300 civil judgment enforcement examiners and bailiffs. This number will increase many times when taking into account the number of civil servants working in ministries, departments and enterprises”.

According to the above data, we can see the career potential and development in the profession, especially during the period when our country participated in signing the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). This proves that students graduating from the Economic Law major can not only participate in the domestic market but can also work in international environments with great potential for expansion.

Currently, Dai Nam University is one of the key schools in the country training human resources in the field of Economic Law with in-depth knowledge and proficient skills that can join the workforce immediately after graduation.

Graduates of the Economic Law major can take on positions in state management agencies in general and state management agencies on business in particular; units directly involved in state business activities; enterprises of all other economic sectors; judicial agencies, courts, prosecutors, enforcement agencies; economic police forces; commercial arbitration centers; legal consulting organizations in general and legal consulting organizations of domestic and foreign business organizations in particular; research and teaching in the field of economic law at research and training institutions....

In 2018, Dai Nam University enrolls 150 students in the Economic Law major with the following specific information:

I. Admission objects: Candidates who graduated from high school or equivalent.

II. Summary of admission subjects
- C00: Literature, History, Geography
- A08: Math, History, Civic Education
- A09: Math, Geography, Civic Education
- C19: Literature, History, Civic Education

III. Admission method
Admission method 1: Admission of high school graduates based on the results of the National High School Exam at examination clusters hosted by universities

Admission method 2: Admission of high school graduates based on high school academic results with the following conditions:
- Total score of three subjects according to exam block of grade 12 for candidates applying for university program is 18 points or higher.
- Grade 12 conduct ranked Good or higher.

IV. Application documents
A – Admission is based on the results of the national high school exam at the exam clusters hosted by the Universities; Admission documents include:
- Certificate of exam results (original)
- 2 envelopes with stamps and the recipient's address clearly written on them.

B – Admission based on high school academic results. Admission documents include:
- Application form (according to Dai Nam University form);
- High school transcript (notarized copy);
- High school diploma or temporary high school graduation certificate (notarized copy);
- Priority certificates (if any);
- 02 envelopes with stamps and recipient's address clearly written on them.

V. Method of submission and location of receiving documents
- Submit directly to the Admissions Office - Dai Nam University, No. 56 Vu Trong Phung, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City.
