Dai Nam University grants 500 million VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to students of Dong Tien commune - Yen Phong - Bac Ninh

With the aim of selecting students with good learning ability and awareness right from the beginning; helping students develop their inherent knowledge, compete with each other in studying and scientific research to achieve the best learning results, each year, the Dai Nam University's Talent Encouragement Scholarship Fund awards scholarships of up to 5 billion VND. This is an opportunity for hundreds of studious students with difficult circumstances across the country to realize their dream of going to university. On the morning of May 29, in order to encourage the learning movement and contribute to the education of their homeland, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University announced the Talent Encouragement Scholarship for students of Dong Tien commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province, applicable to students from the 13th course of the full-time concentrated system.

After more than 2 years of implementation, Dai Nam University's Talent Encouragement Scholarship has awarded tens of billions of VND, creating learning conditions and helping hundreds of students across the country achieve their dreams.
Speaking at the scholarship announcement ceremony, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal shared: " We follow the path of Education to contribute our hearts and virtues to the common and long-term development of the country. And when people are successful, the first thing they think about is their relatives and then their homeland. By bringing this scholarship fund back to our homeland, we hope to contribute a part to our homeland so that children who do not have the conditions will be given the opportunity to study as they wish."
In response to the school's sentiment, Mr. Cao Ha - Chairman of the Dong Tien Commune Association for the Promotion of Education shared: “The Scholarship for Talent Promotion from Dai Nam University will be a great motivation to ignite the aspiration and spirit of competition in learning in the Dong Tien student community. With this scholarship, I believe that parents in the commune will also look back and understand more clearly the meaning and role of learning for the young generation. At the end of the ceremony announcing and awarding the scholarship, delegates of the Dong Tien Commune Association for the Promotion of Education visited two training facilities of the School.
On behalf of the school's leadership, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors announced the scholarship fund for Dong Tien commune.

Sharing about the policy of granting Talent Encouragement Scholarships to Dai Nam University students in general and Dong Tien Commune students in particular, Dr. Le Dac Son said: The Talent Encouragement Scholarship of Dai Nam University was launched in September 2017. After nearly 2 years of implementation, the Talent Encouragement Scholarship has awarded tens of billions of VND, creating conditions to help and bring professional and modern learning opportunities to hundreds of students across the country. Accordingly, the University's Talent Encouragement Scholarship not only provides financial support but also motivates students to pursue their passion for learning, scientific research and develop into useful citizens for society.

Accordingly, Dai Nam University will grant 100% tuition scholarships and 50% tuition scholarships to students of the 13th course, from Dong Tien commune, who are admitted to the school with high scores. The total scholarship for students of Dong Tien commune in the 2019-2020 school year is up to 500 million VND. This scholarship level will be adjusted over the years depending on the admission policy of the Ministry of Education and Training and Dai Nam University.

| Dai Nam University will grant 100% tuition scholarship for semester 1, academic year 2019-2020 to students from Dong Tien commune who are admitted to the school and have a national high school exam score of 21 points or more. For the method of using grade 12 study results, the admission score must be 25 points or more and the total score of the national high school exam according to the admission combination must be 19 points or more for Pharmacy, 18 points or more for the remaining majors. Particularly for students majoring in Service Management and Tourism, students need to have an English certificate of 600 TOEIC points or equivalent international certificates or have a national high school English exam score of 8 points or more. Grant 50% of the tuition fee for the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year for students admitted to the school with a national high school exam score of 20 points or higher. For the method of using the 12th grade learning results, the admission score must be 23 points or higher and the total national high school exam score according to the admission combination must be 19 points or higher for Pharmacy, 18 points or higher for the remaining majors. Particularly for students majoring in Service Management and Tourism, students need to have an additional English certificate of 405 TOEIC points or equivalent international certificates. To receive the Talent Encouragement Scholarship, students must complete the admission application and meet the standards and study at Dai Nam University. From the second semester of the training course, the Talent Encouragement Scholarship will be considered according to the regulations of the University. In particular, after the first semester of the first year, Pharmacy students with Good and Excellent academic results will be selected to the High Quality class according to the principle of taking the first semester's academic results from high to low until the minimum number of students is 30 students, maximum 50 students. Not only providing scholarships for students of Dong Tien commune, Dai Nam University also organizes Soft Skills training courses for teachers of Kindergarten, Primary, Middle and High schools in Yen Phong district. |
