On the morning of November 20, Dai Nam University jubilantly held the 12th Anniversary Ceremony (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2019); celebrated Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20) and the Ceremony to announce and receive the Certificate of Quality Assessment of Educational Institutions according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

12 years of hardship and pride

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Ministry of Education and Training, there was the presence of Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management. On the side of the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga - Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ha - Head of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chief of Office.

The celebration was attended by distinguished guests and nearly 500 staff and lecturers of the School.

On behalf of Dai Nam University, there were Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Board of Directors and all staff and lecturers in the school. In particular, the ceremony also had the presence of partners and guests who came to attend the ceremony and congratulate the success of the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son expressed his gratitude and sincere congratulations to all teachers and nearly 500 staff and lecturers working, teaching and studying at Dai Nam University.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University spoke at the ceremony.

“The 12-year journey of construction and development of Dai Nam University has gone through many difficulties and hardships. However, with the efforts and dedication of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, and the trust and solidarity of the staff and lecturers, Dai Nam University has gradually overcome difficulties and challenges to survive and develop…” Dr. Le Dac Son shared.

According to Dr. Le Dac Son, only the staff and lecturers who have been with the school since its founding can fully understand the difficulties and hardships that the school has gone through and be proud of what Dai Nam has achieved today...

“Thank you teachers for “working together” with the school, enduring many “sadnesses” in both reputation and material things to build Dai Nam University with us. In the future, we will unite and strive together; together steer Dai Nam University to a new stage of development, so that 5 years, 10 years later, when we look back, we will be proud of what we have done…”, Dr. Le Dac Son said.

The 8th university completed quality accreditation according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Center for Educational Quality Assessment awarded the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment to Dai Nam University.

Since its inception, Dai Nam University has paid special attention to quality assessment according to the Ministry of Education and Training's standards. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management and the determination and consensus of the staff, lecturers and employees, after nearly 500 days and nights without rest, Dai Nam University has completed the Self-Assessment Report to submit to the Ministry of Education and Training, and is allowed to sign an External Assessment Contract with the Center for Education Quality Assessment - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges; completed the preliminary and official assessment process with good results; officially became the 23rd non-public university to complete the quality assessment of educational institutions and the 8th university to complete the assessment according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

“Achieving the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment according to the new standards of the Ministry of Education and Training is good news for all staff and lecturers of Dai Nam; it is the trust of generations of students and partners; it is a source of pride to review the past 12 years of Dai Nam University. Thank you to the teachers who have endured “humiliation” with Dai Nam University in terms of both reputation and material things, working together to help us achieve today…” Dr. Le Dac Son shared.

Dai Nam University is the 23rd university out of 60 non-public universities to meet the standards for educational quality assessment and the 8th university to be recognized according to the new assessment standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Speaking at the ceremony to announce and award the Certificate of Educational Institution Quality Assessment to Dai Nam University, Dr. Le My Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the University.

“Since its inception, Dai Nam University has paid special attention to quality assurance. Dai Nam University is also one of the few universities with 6 staff and lecturers who have completed the accreditation training program and one accreditation officer. In particular, although it is an application-oriented university, the University has chosen to assess the quality of educational institutions according to the new standards of the Ministry and has done very well. The Ministry of Education and Training would like to thank the University for that. This will be an important milestone in the university's next development journey. With 23/25 standards being assessed as strengths, I hope Dai Nam University will continue to promote its strengths and overcome its limitations to continue to develop sustainably in the future…”, Dr. Le My Phong directed.

Honoring 15 groups and 77 individuals who excellently completed their tasks in the 2018-2019 school year

Recognizing the contributions of advanced collectives and individuals in the development of the School, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal on behalf of the Board of Directors and the Board of Management read the award decision. Accordingly, 11 collectives and 30 individuals who excellently completed their tasks; 4 collectives and 47 individuals who successfully completed their tasks in the 2018-2019 school year were honored at the ceremony.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors awarded certificates of merit to 11 groups that excellently completed their tasks in the 2018-2019 school year.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors awarded certificates of merit to 30 individuals who excellently completed their tasks in the 2018-2019 school year.

Mr. Do Quan - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups that successfully completed their tasks in the 2018-2019 school year.

Mr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal and Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal awarded certificates of merit to individuals who completed their tasks well in the 2018-2019 school year.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal awarded certificates of merit to individuals who completed their tasks well in the 2018-2019 school year.
