Dai Nam University organizes admission for successful candidates based on the first round of high school graduation exam scores and second round of academic records.

On October 9, Dai Nam University (DNU) organized the second admission round of 2020 for candidates admitted based on the results of grade 12. On October 10, the school organized the first admission round for candidates admitted based on the results of the high school graduation exam. Candidates admitted to the school will complete the admission procedures at the only address of the Admissions Office of Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi.

From early morning on October 9, many candidates and parents came to do admission procedures.

In the 2020-2021 school year, Dai Nam University enrolls full-time university students in 15 majors in 04 training blocks, according to two admission methods, considering grade 12 transcripts and high school graduation exam scores.

On the afternoon of October 4, the Admissions Council of Dai Nam University announced the admission scores for 15 training majors based on the high school graduation exam scores. Accordingly, the majors with the highest admission scores are Medicine with 22 points, Pharmacy with 21 points, Nursing with 19 points, and the remaining majors with 15 points. The time for admission confirmation and enrollment for candidates admitted by this method starts from October 5 and ends before 5:00 p.m. on October 10, 2020.

With the method of considering 12th grade transcripts according to a combination of 03 subjects, the admission score ranges from 18 to 24 points depending on the major. Specifically, for Medicine and Pharmacy majors, 24 points, candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as excellent; Nursing majors, 19.5 points, candidates must have a grade 12 academic performance classified as fair or higher; the remaining majors are 18 points. Candidates admitted by this method will enroll in the second round from October 5 to October 9, 2020.

DNU's admission benchmark this year is determined to be equivalent to many universities in the region, while the health sector strictly adheres to the quality assurance threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2020, the entrance score range of candidates admitted by both admission methods of Dai Nam University was 2-3 points higher than in previous years.

According to actual admission data as of October 10, the average score of candidates admitted based on high school graduation exam scores is 2-3 points higher than previous years. Specifically, the average score for Medicine is 25 points, Pharmacy is 24 points, Nursing is 22 points, and the remaining majors range from 18-20 points.
