Dai Nam University organizes blood donation festival to save lives

To celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2018) and respond to the theme of Youth Month 2018 "Creative Youth Building the Country", on March 22, Dai Nam University organized a Humanitarian Blood Donation Festival with the theme "Dai Nam Red Drops 2018" at Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus, Ha Dong.

The program aims to help people who have accidents, patients with blood diseases, patients who need blood transfusion surgery... Launching the blood donation program to save people, teachers and students of Dai Nam School aim to demonstrate the tradition of mutual love of our nation, at the same time contributing to the health care of the people and increasing the national blood reserve. At the same time, it helps to raise awareness of union members, youth and students about voluntary blood donation. This is also the process of checking and evaluating the propaganda activities, persuading union members to participate in the movement of the union branches and inter-union branches in the school.

The humanitarian blood donation program "Giot Hong Dai Nam 2018" will be held on March 22.

The Humanitarian Blood Donation Program of Dai Nam University with the theme "Dai Nam Red Drops 2018" has the following main contents:
I. PARTICIPANTS
- Staff, lecturers and employees of the whole school.
- Union members, students of the whole school and overseas workers.
II. CONTENT, TIME, LOCATION
1. Time: From 08:30 – 17:00, Thursday, March 22, 2018
2. Location: Dai Nam University Yard - Phu Lam Campus, Ha Dong, Hanoi.
3. Specific implementation content:
- Number: all staff, lecturers, employees, students and foreign workers participating.
4. Rights of blood donors
First, get free health check-up and consultation.
Second, you will be examined and know more about your health, be informed of the results of blood tests (completely confidential) about blood types and diseases such as HIV/AIDS or malaria... if any member is infected with the above diseases or suspected of having pathogens, the doctor will invite them for free consultation and examination.
Third, for every unit of blood donated, the voluntary blood donor will be cared for and receive gifts according to current State regulations and will be given a movie ticket donated by Dai Nam University.
Fourth, be granted a certificate of voluntary blood donation by the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Blood Donation of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
Fifth, in addition to the honor value of the certificate, voluntary blood donors are also compensated for blood up to the amount of blood donated in case of an incident. The certificate is valid for all public and non-public facilities.
With the above plan, Dai Nam University calls on organizations and individuals inside and outside the school to join hands to save people and actively participate in these meaningful humanitarian movements.
